We LOVE lighthouse chiro! I've been going for a year and feel so much better with my adjustments. Dr.Michael recommended adjustments for my son who was suffering from ear infections, he had 8 in 2023. Every time he had any type of congestion, it would turn into an ear infection. After two visits with Dr.Michael, no more infections. Kai hasn't had an ear infection since September and has had congestions and colds. I'm truly amazed that the adjustments worked so well for my son. Thank goodness we gave this a try, saved my son from having surgery. I can't rate accurately yet. I've been once, they were easy with me, took all I had to say into account, and did a simple pregnancy adjustment. That's what the rating is for. I had the fear of going after a traumatic experience with a chiropractor years ago for a hip injury. But I liked the informative nurses, videos firsthand in the first visit in this office. Helped put my husband at ease. He's way skeptical of all doctors and anything to deal with the nervous system. The D-hist suggestion is very helpful, especially for me, because allergies are such a painful thing for me in spring season, and I get bad headaches, and this has soothed a lot of inner ear drainage too. read more

I really, truly appreciate Dr. Michael and Dr. Lindsey for their competence and standard of care for me throughout pregnancy and postpartum, as well as for each of my children. My most recent visit was only a few days ago and I found the office staff as well as the chiropractors to be as kind, welcoming, and professional as ever. Dr. Michael is very respectful of our health needs and is very accommodating. I appreciate their new hand-washing policy, which is good all year long, every year; coronavirus or not. If you have medical reasons to not wear a mask, you will be comfortable here. If you wear a mask, you will be comfortable here as the chiropractors and office staff will ensure you feel safe. Nobody here has tried to market anything to me; not a wellness package nor vitamins or supplements, etc. I'm sure if I needed or wanted some of the items I see displayed, they'd be happy to help me. I cannot say enough about how amazing Dr. Michael and Dr. Dave are. All the staff here, really. I was recently pregnant with my 4th child and had never had chiropractic care during pregnancy before. My midwife recommended I go see them when, at around 20 weeks, I started to have my usual back/hip/sciatic craziness that I always seem to get during pregnancy. I was skeptical, but I figured it couldn't hurt to give it a try. Oh my goodness, it was like night and day. I was there 2-3 times a week for the rest of my pregnancy, and I really felt like they were part of my family. They got me in whenever I needed it, fixed any ache and pain that I had, and really cared about me as a patient and as a person. I was so much more mobile and flexible, even when overdue! I could still actually walk without pain! (And if you've ever been a 40 week pregnant woman, you know how big of a deal that is.) They set up my kids with a DVD while I got a prenatal massage (several times). Talk about going above and beyond! I'm really not sure I would have made it through that pregnancy without them. We continued seeing them after she was born for awhile, until a couple of major financial issues popped up and I could no longer afford it. They were amazing with my children, so gentle and loving. As soon as my financial situation is better, I will definitely be going back. Go see them, even if you are skeptical like I was. You will definitely not regret it. At 36 weeks pregnant, our baby was in breech position. We begin the Webster Technique with Dr. Mike. After the fourth treatment we went in for another sonogram and were thrilled that the baby turned. While this technique isn't a guarantee due to variables not allowing the baby to turn, it is a safe way to give the baby the opportunity and the space they need to turn on their own if they are able. We are very grateful to Dr. Mike and the staff at Lighthouse Chiropractic for their professional care and working with us in this way to eliminate the decision of attempting a version and scheduling a c-section. read more

I felt uncomfortable in this office, it was heavy on the hard sell of thousand dollar wellness package when I went in only wanting adjustments for now. The first $90 appointment didn't even include any type of care, which left me disheartened and out of a lot of money. The second appointment, they were 15 minutes late for, despite reassuring me that I would be out of there by a certain time when I made the appointment - once they brought me back, the nurse put a 10 minute video on and told me the doctor would be in after, but I told them I'd have to leave in 10 minutes so the doctor skipped the (unnecessary) video to squeeze in an adjustment. I haven't ever had an adjustment before, so it was a little overwhelming rushing the whole thing after the doctor tried to talk me into the thousand dollar wellness package and orthotics. I got the impression that the doctor was pissed off with me - whether for not having time to watch the video, or not wanting orthotics or to pay thousands of dollars for his wellness package. It's also uncomfortable being at a doctors office that has scrolling bible quotes on the tv monitors, I can't help but feel it's a little uninclusive and in poor taste - it's not like I was going to a church to get a back adjustment where maybe I'd expect to see some sort of influential religious rhetoric. I couldn't identify, through the website, that it was an overwhelmingly christian experience either, so the office visit was definitely a bit jarring. Of course, overall I wouldn't recommend this place. read more

So I went in on a recommendation from my financial adviser, since my back had developed a visible curve in it and I was in excruciating pain. I went in on Sep 3rd; and did not have an appointment; but they were more than accommodating to get me in that day. I found the entire staff was very welcoming, and courteous; but with the amount of pain I was in anything would have been great. After three visits there was a marked improvement with almost a complete reduction in pain. I went in on Sep. 8th for my fourth visit had a good alignment; however the massage was amazing and I typically hate massages and avoid them like the plague. The masseuse made me very comfortable; and unlike the previous massages I have had she actually had very good pressure and worked on the ridiculous knots in my back. I think I am sold and may just add it in a routine preventive care. read more

I went there from 2009 to 2012. I wansn't ever X-Rayed, nor did I receive proper adjustments (well, unless Dr. Felix or Dr. Maria were there). My appointments went from casual conversions about life and --mostly -- my pain with time spend feeling my bag, to procedural "one-size -fits-all" adjustments and Bo discussions about my level of pain. read more
