I cannot say enough wonderful things about this business! They have been amazing to work with,…read moreespecially during the craziness of COVID. I just had my wedding here yesterday and am still in awe of how smoothly it went and how beautiful it was. We chose to go with a Pop Up wedding package. It included sooooo much and made wedding planning a million times easier. The package included the use of both rooms - reception and hearth room. It included catering, cake and cupcakes, officiant, wedding planner (Janna), DJ, and your choice of decorations. It CAN include your flowers too, something I chose to do and they were beautiful! You cannot beat the price anywhere. The venue itself if gorgeous! I am in live with the hearth room and am so glad we were able to have the ceremony in there. It is a HUGE stone hearth that takes up moth of the wall. They have it decorated gorgeously with lanterns and garland. The reception room is huge and has a nice stage. The tables and chairs all get decorated and looked amazing. It is very classy. There is also a very nice bar area if you choose to get a bar package. It is all stone and wood. There is a beautiful outside area to get married and/or take pictures. They have a great bride room with its own toilet, lots of mirrors, and seats. The restrooms are very nice and large so people can change clothes is needed. I don't think you can find a prettier venue, especially at their prices. The catering was by Shack in the Back BBQ. They have special prices with that venue that you can't beat. We had BBQ pork and chicken with AMAZING mashed potatoes, mac n cheese, and scrumptious green beans. The BBQ pork was very good with your choice of sauce. I was told (but didn't try it personally) that the BBQ wasn't very good. For an additional dollar per plate, it included lemonade and maybe something else to drink (I can't remember the details.) It was definitely worth the extra charge not to have to bring in our own drinks and make sure they were cold. The cake and cupcakes were very good. I LOVED the icing, it wasn't too sweet but just sweet enough. I got a mix of vanilla and chocolate. They put beautiful pink flowers on the top of the cake. I was really pleased with how it turned out. The MOST IMPORTANT part of the whole experience was the people that work there. Megan was wonderful to work with getting everything initially set up and managed. Louise did a great job on my flowers and gave me exactly what it asked for. But Janna, the coordinator, was absolutely the best part of the whole experience! She made sure every detail was planned out and ran smoothly. She was available by text or phone anytime I had a question or changed my mind. She was also the officiant at our ceremony and almost brought me to tears. She makes the whole Pop Up package work and knows exactly what she's doing. What a pleasure to work with! Please consider using Rivers Edge for your wedding or any event. I can promise you won't be disappointed!

For 20+ years I've attended several events at Wildwood Country Club - wedding receptions,…read morefundraisers, sorority brunches and meetings, and Halloween events. It's been a solid option for event planning. Wildwood feels like a destination, meaning it's not near a key area with restaurants, shopping or other attractions. At the last event I attended, many friends struggled to get to our event on time. It was a weeknight and rush hour, and traffic was a struggle from all parts of town. The good news is there's plenty of parking once you arrive. It's been updated through the years, making it a nice spot for more semi- to formal events. Saying that, it's fairly neutral and conservative rather than young and modern. How you decorate the space will make a difference to the vibe guests feel when entering the space. For several of my events, a buffet was served and often in an attached room. The food is fairly average. I'd rate the bar as average as well. You won't find craft cocktails here and at times the glasses and serving sizes varied amongst guests, even for the same drink. Cards are accepted and keeping tabs open was offered. Memberships offered and those having them gain access to more perks and discounted rentals of the spaces.

We used to live in the area, and B used to golf here, so I've visited to meet friends to eat and drink. Everything was always great, and the service was always fast and friendly. I was also in a wedding here, and it was beautiful! Both the ceremony and the reception were great, and the photos from the wedding (both indoor and out) were gorgeous! If you're looking for a spot to play golf, or a venue for an event, I think Wildwood is a good option!

They moved from Breckenridge Lane to Bardstown Rd. From what I was told, the new location is bigger than what it was before. And it is a pretty nice size space. Once you walk in they have a screen for you to sign a waiver for individuals who are participating. Towards your right there are arcade games which only take money coins not arcade coins. They have a change machine for you to get change. There is a throwing ax area, sumo arena, bounce house arena and a gaming arena in addition to the foam shooting arenas. There are two party areas that are separated by a wall and a net for privacy. From a party perspective the lowest basic package is $300. With this package you receive 45 minutes in the party room which you use first and than one hour in the public foam arena. You do not get the access to the private foam arena. Which I think they should include a 30 minute private arena to the basic package so that the birthday child can play exclusively with their friends but that is more money. You get access to the other arenas but not the arcade game because it only takes money. They have guns to rent and for the birthday They do provide nerf guns for you to shot but it's only the basic one shot gun. For the birthday child they get an upgrade to a bigger gun to shoot more darts. You can upgrade your gun for an additional cost or bring in your own nerf gun which I would recommend. The cost is $15 per child for one hour of play and $20 for 90 minutes of play. Not too bad! Overall, my kiddos enjoyed it and would possibly go back.
