Years ago I was instructed by my employer to go have professional headshots taken and one of the sales representatives met me at the studio.I enjoyed myself so much that I was disappointed when I was told we were done. The pictures turned out great ! She captured my smiling eyes perfectly. I would recommend Susan to anyone. I have photographed professionaly but not at the level of expertise that Susan has, I like her shooting style! read more

What an experience! Two besties converging with Susan who is light to have her eagle eye and that photographic lens do their magic. First, this is my 2nd time shooting with Susan. She did my 50th and I returned with my bestie 10 years later for another shoot. Needless to say, she's all that, she's got spunk, she's knows how to make you comfortable in front of the camera, and then you get your pictures and you are AMAZED at how you look. We both felt like real models gazing into the photographers lens who guides, corrects, and eases you into each shot. She's a real pro with a real sense of humor. #Light read more

For the nonprofit I was about to lead, I needed a professional head-shot taken. Boy was I nervous. How would my hair look, my makeup and what was I going to wear? But then how would all that look on camera? When I got to Susan's studio, all my worries disappeared. She is so professional that I was put at ease right away. The room was already pre-lit to perfection and the backdrop in place. A few suggestions of what I don't like (I don't like tilted heads) and she had me pose. Before I knew it the photos were done and we went to take a look at the rough images on her computer. What I saw was a surprise. Was that ME? It came out so perfect and I never take perfect photos! But this unretouched image on her screen was so unbelievable that I knew the final image would come out just perfect. My image in the photo looked real and not touched up to perfection. I highly recommend Susan for your next photoshoot! read more

Susan is absolutely FANTASTIC at what she does! Every part of the experience was AMAZING! She made the time to have a phone conference ahead of time to understand what kind of pictures I was looking for. She then brainstormed a few venues she thought would be the best fit. On the day of the shoot, she made me feel very comfortable and kept the vibe very relaxed and fun. To my surprise, she also managed to edit and send the photos pretty soon after the shoot. I give her my HIGHEST recommendation! If you're looking for an AMAZING photographer with excellent results, you have found your match with Susan. read more

First, I want to stress that my experiences are unique to me and I'm not trying to generalize. Over the past 20+ years, I've had the opportunity to work with some great and not so great photographers. As a promotional model in the past, working trade shows, you need to keep an updated portfolio to book gigs. I would shoot with photographers, get a CD lol with 100+ images and hope that 2 or more would work for my portfolio. Most of the time, I could find a few that I really liked and I can still appreciate them today. Then there are those that never did a thing for me, and I discarded. Fast forward about 20 years later.... Now in my professional career, I've needed to get updated corporate photos for quite some time but was ok with silly selfies like the one on my google profile lol. Ok, so it was time to get serious... I then asked my broker for a referral and was given a name and number. Instead of me calling this guy, I googled the agent who he had photographed to see her image on her website, and I have to say that I wasn't impressed. She was very washed out and cloudy almost like a ghost. I then scrolled through all her staff photos assuming it was the same photographer and started to get that Kmarty vibe. Well, that wasn't going to work for me, so I started to search out photographers on google and came across tons of Kmarty JcPennyish photography studio vibes out there. Lots of bad lighting and cheesy poses. OMG! Maybe, I'm just used to better quality than what I was finding in today's market. Then, I came across Light Images. Scrolled through her corporate images and I was sold! I was also praying that I could afford to work with her because her photography was incredible. Perfect lighting, no cheesy poses. Sign me up! lol I immediately called her, and she was pleasant on the phone, completely professional and I was able to coordinate a shoot that was convenient for me. Everything was as she had said on the phone from my arrival to setup in her studio. She had everything ready to go and the whole process was quick. She had such great energy and I really enjoyed working with her. Then, the moment of truth... After the shoot, sitting with Susan as she pulled up the photos. I was over the moon! Wow! What a relief to see my images in perfect lighting, perfect everything. It was so difficult for me to weed out anything. lol She is AMAZING!!!! In the end, I ended up buying more than I had planned but it was so worth it... Today is Sunday and I didn't expect to hear from Susan, but she texted me to say my images were ready and she needed my email. Shortly after, I checked my email and I have to say that I was moved to tears... I had a good cry but they were tears of joy, gratitude, and appreciation... I was overwhelmed by the quality of her work. To see myself so beautifully in a way I haven't been able to really see in the mirror, but Susan was able to capture the essence of my beauty through her camera lens. Susan is a gifted artisan and if I didn't share all my thoughts and experience, I would feel greedy! I honestly believe that if you don't trust Susan to take your photos, you're only cheating yourself. Seriously! She is the best and I can't stop raving about her and my experience. I plan to do more shoots with Susan with my family and boyfriend. My only regret is that I didn't find her in my earlier years. Thank you, Susan! You are a miracle worker and I'm so appreciative to of had the opportunity to work with you :)) read more

we worked with Susan recently and we could not be more pleased. she made us feel so comfortable with the entire process. Her professionalism , sense of humor and style made it a total joy. Susan did an absolutely amazing shoot for my personal professional photo - as she has done for so many of the executive team of the consulting firm I just joined. The quality and consistency of the photography might be something one might expect from a true professional, but Susan's personality and eclectic studio also made it comfortable, entertaining and interesting all in a brief period of time. All were top quality shots and any one would have been appreciated, but her recommended pose stood out from them all! Thank you, Susan! read more

Very Professional. I've been using this studio since she opened!! She's the best in town!

First let me say that Susan is the best, she is the fourth boudoir photographer I have gone to in Vegas and from now on I will never go to anyone else! Reasons I loved my entire boudoir experience: 1. Everyone cares about value/quality and in my opinion Susan offers an amazing value. She is the best without charging the most. Her rates are very reasonable especially considering how amazing the pictures turned out. 2. Susan herself is such a wonderful, fun and enjoyable person to be around. The kind of person you would love to have coffee with. She made me feel so relaxed and comfortable and it was reflected in the quality of my pictures. 3. Her studio is really nice. Unlike some photographers you don't wait forever for her to get set up. She won't waste your time. 4. My request was to look sexy but still look like ME and she totally accommodated my request. She listened but she knows what she's doing and if you follow her guidance you will be very happy that you did. 5. Very fast turnaround time! So obviously I couldn't recommend highly enough that you don't hesitate and book her! read more

Susan is an outstainding photographer and a true master of her craft. Susan has the gift to bring the beautiful out of you and showcase it to the world. I walked into her studio shy with misconceptions that I was not photogenic. She destroyed this misconception that I had and brought the best out of me while producing beautiful images. She is down to earth and makes you feel like you have known her for years. Well worth every penny, you will not be dissapointed. Susan is a true gem! read more

To begin i came to Susan not really knowing what to expect, however, after speaking to her over the phone she made me feel comfortable, her down to earth personalty is breath taking. I sch an appt for myself and two other friends of mine. We had a BLAST!! She took care of all of our concerns and gave us feedback on what to wear and how to pose!! The photos came out amazing!! I would definitely be come back for more and recommend her to anyone whom is welling to take half nude or full nude photos. Hell any types of photos! read more

I bought a Groupon for a couple's boudoir photo shoot and immediately after speaking with Susan on the phone to set up an appointment, I KNEW she was going to be awesome. She's very energetic and nice. Her studio has a locked door that she has to unlock in order for you to get in, which is great for privacy reasons. She has her work adorning the walls of her studio as you walk to the back, she has multiple small set ups, as well as a dressing room. She asked to see my outfits and asked my husband which one was his favorite, so he showed her and so that's the one she had me wear. We did a few photos with the outfit on, and then she had me strip down to my birthday suit! She is so blunt and casual about it, you can't help but be comfortable with her! After the shoot, she loaded the photos onto the computer and had us sit down so we could start to go through them and find the ones we liked. I expected to walk out with just the one 5x7 that came with the Groupon. Instead, we saw so many that we just loved that we ended up ordering a photo book full of them! Susan does AMAZING work, she's a complete natural and really knows what she's doing. The photo book is a bit steep in price (depending on how many photos you purchase), but it is so worth it. We have these great photos to treasure and we really enjoyed having them taken. It's an experience worth having at least once in your life! read more

Susan is such an amazingly talented photographer and I enjoyed my one hour session so much. She is an absolute perfectionist ( her Capricorn trait) and my photos were absolutely beautiful. I highly recommend her for want one interested in a photo shoot. read more

Susan is absolutely brilliant at her craft! I purchased a boudoir shoot for a dear friend and had the pleasure of watching Susan hard at work from the time we arrived until we said our farewell. She truly takes the time to make any of her clients not only comfortable, but ensures they received the highest quality of photography Las Vegas has to offer! As local natives, we understand you really pay for what you get - promising you, Susan is the real deal and worth every penny! read more

How do I explain what an amazing experience I had with Susan. First before I even booked I called, texted, emailed several different boudoir photographers and Susan was the only one who wanted to spend a moment on the phone to talk with me. That alone is worth 5 stars. If I'm getting naked in front of someone it would be nice to make sure I feel comfortable, right? She communicated via text to confirm and gave me directions. I arrived a few minutes early and was welcomed in to the studio, provided a clean and private place to change. She helped me select which of the outfits I brought to wear. Taking her time to help me feel at ease and guided me into each pose. Making me relaxed and feeling gorgeous. We did a few backdrop changes and outfit swaps which gave us a lot of chose from in the end. We had almost 90 photos to review and I would say less than 5 were ones I wouldn't buy as in She is that amazing - raw images I would have taken almost everyone. She helped me narrow them down to a reasonable number (ten) and I am just reeling with how easy this was and will be back for more photos in the future. read more

In preparation for a long Valentines weekend in Las Vegas I checked out Group On and found an offers for boudoir photo shoots. I called Susan to find out more about the process and, after a short conversation, booked an appointment. Her studio is located in a condo complex which although is unorthodox I found it surprisingly comfortable. There's something about getting undressed in an environment that feels more like a home than an office. I had planned to drive to her new location but, due to car trouble, took an Uber. I arrived with a small variety of lingerie which Susan was eager to see. Knowing what I was going to wear (or not wear) gave Susan the information to set up the shots in the most fluid and economical fashion. She told me what her general plan was for the entire shoot and then what to wear for the first shoot. Susan gave clear, easy directions and was complementary during the shoot. She helped me feel relaxed, beautiful and sexy! She was incredibly efficient too - she knew exactly what she wanted to do next and I suspect she was always 10 steps ahead. When she was finished with the shoot she invited me to get dressed and join her at the computer. I believe she had taken 80 photographs. I choose my favorites and got the number down to 25ish. From there Susan helped me choose the perfect number of images and quoted me a reasonable price. I ordered digital photos (which are being touched up) and am eagerly awaiting their arrival. This was such a fun event! The day before I went shopping for the lingerie and booked an appointment to have my make-up done the day-of (MAC). I used Uber for the first time to get to the studio. Susan was so fun, engaging and personable. She is not only a true professional but what I like to call "good people." She even drove me back to the Strip to avoid an additional Uber fare! I highly recommend! read more

Let me start by saying that this is my first review on yelp. I've utilized the site frequently, but never found an establishment worth taking the time to review. Well, I FOUND IT!!!!!. Susan is amazing!!! Ive never felt comfortable with someone 2 minutes after meeting them. But when you walk in the the door, you feel at home. She's fun, professional, and a pleasure to work with. And this was my impression before one photo was taken. This woman is good at what she does. My only criticism is that there are too many phenomenal photos to chose from. I am not very photogenic. Usually I end up looking awkward, but Susan made me feel comfortable and beautiful. I got some boudoir pics done for my hubby for Valentine's Day. It was the best gift I could've gotten him. He loved it! He said I should look into modeling. Little does he know, it was all because of Susan. I had my first boudoir photo shoot done with Susan and I have nothing but great things to say about the whole experience. I've always wanted to take photos like this and I finally decided to do it for my birthday. Susan made sure I loosened up and encouraged me to keep going. So many great pictures were taken and I narrowed it to 9.. I am happy with all of my pictures. From my outfit to the finished printed copy! Susan kept saying "There's a method to my madness" and well, she's right! Btw, her studio is awesome! She has a bunch of props and different wall changes for all different picture looks. I saw the Groupon Susan posted and thought I would try it for my husband for his birthday. Well after I we met and I saw her work, I decided to take it to the next level. I went all out and did the personalized book. The book was very elegent and yet discrete, it also came in a black box for privacy. The shoot started out slow so I could get comfortable and she was very good at giving me direction so it didn't look like it was my first time. As others have said, a glass of wine or two will help you make the most of this unbelievable experience. I will never be a playboy centerfold, but Susan made me feel like I was. It was simply amazing that she can put this together all by herself. I think that is what helps with you feeling so at ease, there isn't a room full of people staring at you. Just you and her. I gave the book to my husband today. His birthday isn't till next week, I couldn't wait. He was amazed at what I had done for him. He just kept looking and saying "WOW'! The pictures were very classy and professional. The artistic touches she adds to designing the layouts of each page make it so worth the time and money. I would, actually I have, recommended this to all my girlfriends! Call Susan and book your appointment now!! You wil be so happy you did. read more

Susan is amazing. My boyfriend and I were planning a trip with my family out to Vegas so we signed up for local Groupons to get a few other event ideas, and Light Images Boudoir photo shoot came up. We called before our trip to check on availability prior to leaving and not only did she have availability but she would also honor the voucher even if we didn't buy in. The door is locked at all times for privacy so we rang the buzzer to get in and as soon as you walk through the door you are surrounded by portraits of her work. Since we were doing a Boudoir shoot she went through a few photo books of her work and went over a few ideas that she had for us. She talked about our comfort levels and what we were looking to get out of it and as others have mentioned all this was done over a glass of wine or two. In her words "whatever it takes to get you loosened up." She explained her natural light room which I can't really do but it's brilliant. She gave us each very simple instructions adn used a couple of different backgrounds. I even brought in a couple of things of my own and we used them. Throughout the photo shoot she'd periodically show us the photos. And to be honest they looked great with no photo editing. By the end of the whole thing I was standing in the dressing room watching my boyfriend having a conversation with Susan and he was butt naked like it was nothing. I laughed but still. Overall is was a great experience and I look forward to doing it again one day. We may have "bought into" the Groupon but the work was so good that we ended up with 14 prints!!!!! We couldn't just pick one! read more

We all want to feel special and she did just that, with boudoir pictures being so personal, we want that personal touch. Susan exceeded our expectations. We chose to do a boudoir shoot because my wife has had many years of abuse and up until I met her she did not believe she was beautiful. We went to Susan in hopes that she would help my wife see what I see everyday. During the photoshoot my wife said she felt nervous but relaxed/comfortable. Susan is a true professional and an amazing woman to get to know. As we went through the photographs, to chose which ones we wanted, something started to change in my wife. She told me on the ride home that it will still take more time, but Susan helped her find her beauty. We didn't know susan before we went to see her. We just saw the reviews and noticed she had better than everyone else. We were not dissapointed and I can promise you will not be either. We all need to feel beautiful. Susan is an amazing artist with the camera, and I would agree with what someone else on yelp said about her, "she is down to earth". read more

If you have ever thought about getting boudoir pictures done this is the ONLY place to go. Susan makes you feel confident and comfortable in her awesome studio. When you are there for the shoot she makes sure the door is locked so you feel safe in the fact that no body is going to walk in and see your bits. Every moment you are there you can tell Susan knows what she is doing. I was worried at first because I'm a size 14 and I know I'm not thin, but from the pictures you would think I should be modeling for a living. The pictures showed me how beautiful I really am in a way a mirror never could. My husband flipped when he saw the pictures, he loves them so much he looks at them all the time. The pictures are beautiful and something I'm going to treasure into my old age. Thanks Susan! read more

I found Light Images by Susan while searching on Groupon for a boudoir photo session. I looked on Yelp and was blown away by all of the 5 star reviews and I decided to book a session. Prior to entering her studio, I was very nervous to do the photo shoot and didn't really know what to expect. Susan is highly professional and made me feel not only comfortable, but confident and sexy, and she made the photo shoot fun! She gives instruction as well as compliments throughout the entire session, which is an added bonus, and made every minute of the shoot effortless! You can tell Susan is passionate about what she does and she is highly talented and creative in her line of work. Ultimately, I decided to have an album made for my now husband as his wedding gift. Let's just say he loved it and wants me to make him one every year now :) I can't say enough great things about the quality of the finished photos and the beautifully constructed album, which was quite reasonably priced. Holy cow. Susan is amazing. I bought a Groupon to do a boudoir photo session (well, I guess it could have been used for other stuff, but that's what I used it for). It was a week prior to my wedding and I did this as a gift for my hubby. The minute I arrived Susan was welcoming and kind--and I could tell she was a profressional, not just another person with a fancy camera. She talked to me about what I wanted to acomplish with the photos and looked over what I brought with me--and she noticed how nervous I was and brought me a glass of wine! That really helped me loosen up. During the shoot she was encouraging and gave very simple directions and talked to me through the whole thing. She had fantastic ideas and really made me feel great. Right afterwards we reviewed my photos and I ended up buying a book of the photos because she did such an amazing job.
