Really helpful staff, my Mathmos lamp had seen better days, it had been relegated to the summer house, top dented and bottle had gone cloudy (had the lamp for over twenty years from the same shop). I bought a new complete lamp and a new bottle and bulb for my old one and I was given a top, so I now have two Mathmos lamps to keep me and the cats amused ;-) They stock lots of Roberts radios, some Kath Kidston style ones, really pretty. Well worth a visit, such a lovely shop, not modernised at all, true old fashioned service with a smile :-) The have Panasonic TVs in store as well. I checked all of the carpet retailers in the area and this business was by far the cheapest. My carpets were fitted over 2 days so I didn't have to worry about moving my dogs around. Carpets were fitted beautifully and I'm very happy with the final result. Carpet fitters were very friendly and professional. My only gripe is the rubbish they left behind. The fitting is free but it would be nice if they didn't leave all their rubbish in the front garden. Overall I highly recommend Finishing Touch, as long as you don't mind a tip run after. Genuinely lovely people. Absolutely the best prices.
