Be careful when deciding to place a loved one at a Lifespark community. They are sure to tell you that they are transparent. I can only speak about Polar Ridge in North Saint Paul. I have witnessed many things that have not been addressed accordingly. They don't like reviews that are true and will delete them. Hope you get to read this before that happens. read more

I am writing this review on a Lifespark community called Eagle Point Senior Living in Appleton, WI. My mom moved in as independent living and after less than a year moved to assisted living. We picked this place because it's beautiful and everyone working there is very nice. They have nice amenities and mom could be social and meet some nice residence. It is a very expensive place but because mom wouldn't have to move as her needs changed we thought it would be best. She lived at Eagle Point for just over 2 years on a month to month lease and my mom passed away on 4/8/2026. They had her money for rent for the month of April and level 2 assisted living. Since they did not provide care for most of April we were expecting a refund for assisted living portion and was told we would be receiving it. But they took rent out of the refund for May until the 8th. Instead of getting over a thousand back we got just over $200. Just want anyone moving there to beware of this. Also thinking she would not have to move even if she ran out of money was not true. Your put on a waiting list and if there is not a studio available you have to leave. At over $5k a month to live there paying her own way over 2 years we had that worry. CNA were very nice but they did go through a lot of new ones in the 2 years. If it weren't for Hospice care coming in addition the Eagle Point staff, mom would not have had the care she needed in her last couple months. CNA's at Eagle Point do not have a good leader and they do not have enough of them. They are over worked and frequently need to rush to another resident feeling like they couldn't provide the care they wanted to give. I know options for this type of living are not good. If we could have found a place for mom to have in house care we would have done that towards her last months. read more

Lifespark Hospice has some of the most warm and compassionate clinicians I've ever experienced. They give the kind of care one would come to expect in late life and hospice. I've had a great experience with them across the board. read more

We hired them for professional PT/OT and nursing care when my husband was discharged from TCU which was Medicare covered and then for their private pay home care aides. The professional nurses, PT/OT staff were wonderful (Five Star +) BUT (and this is a gigantic B U T) most of the aides were barely trained at all and in the less than two month we used them we had over 20+ different ones! Of those 20+ three were wonderful and the rest? (1/2 star at best) A couple of them FELL ASLEEP while playing on their phones, some just sat unless directed to do anything and had no idea what being proactive meant. Consistency was nonexistent and, unfortunately, because my husband and I both have substantial hearing loss, we could not understand the people with heavy accents! Not their fault but we asked several times for persons who did not have strong accents. They were unable to comply. Would I recommend them? For the Medicare covered staff? Absolutely! for their home aides? NEVER! For $39.00/hour it was appalling service! read more

We used them for my 91 year old mom in our house after an illness. Services included PT, OT, Home Aids for daily living. Without exception, every person that came to the house was awesome! Friendly, well trained, caring. Proactive in what the home health aid would do. (Doing my moms laundry, making her bed, etc.) she loved every aid who provided good conversations and encouragement to do her therapy. She progressed so quickly after her illness that she is actually stronger than before she became ill in large part due to the LifeSprk team. We could not Recommend LifeSprk any higher, and if the time comes, it is comforting to know they are a phone call away. Not sure why our location is San Fran but we live in the western suburbs of Mpls, not San Fran! read more

I live at one of their facilities. I can't wait to move out! They can't keep good help so are always short handed. The good employees get burned out and leave. There is very little for independent living residents to do. It is more nursing home atmosphere here. Movies, bingo, singalongs, that's about it. Housekeeping is a joke. The entire building including apartments can get disgusting. Director doesn't know how to do the job. Doesn't deal with serious situations properly, has favorites among residents and employees and it shows! read more

This is a company that one would not want to work for. Very disorganized. Management is very condescending. No support, very toxic. Caregivers are lazy. Leadership is poor. Work life balance doesn't exist at this company. read more

We have been using them for about 4 months. They have been late or no shows about 40% of the time. We have had a few great caregivers but they have left the company. They guaranty a provider if you give 24 hours notice but the guaranty doesn't mean much if they don't show up or are late. We have also used the live in care for vacations. Once you pay for 10-12 hours it matches the 24 hour rate. Nurse visits are required as part of the service. read more

We are using Lifespark now but today they told us that they could no longer serve our needs because my wife's care is to complex for their caregivers. My wife has ALS and she is Trached and in a wheelchair but we have private caregivers and they are just fine with doing her cares. They should have never taken the case if it was to complex. With the rate they charge at $37 per hour they should be able hire competent people that can handle her care. My grandfather uses the Lifesprk tablet and couldn't be happier. I and the rest of the family wanted him to stay engaged with us through Facebook. Unfortunately he couldn't get the hang of an android or iPad. That is when I gave him the Lifesprk tablet to try. He finally got something he can use. He plays games daily and views pictures occasionally. It isn't Facebook so you have to remember to post them using a separate app. A little more effort but not everything I do on Facebook is grandpa worthy anyway. :) It doubles, as a digital photo album when it isn't in use so he gets to show off grandkids 24/7. Support is pretty good. Early on, I tried to reach out late at night and got voicemail which apparently wasn't suppose to happen. Since then it has been all good for I and grandpa. Not cheap but keeping him connected is worth it for me...more so with all the other failed attempts. He has been using it since summer 15 so I'm happy to report he still uses it months later! It is not for everyone. Same age grandparents on my dad's side were business owners and engaged with technology from the beginning. They are comfortable with a comouter, tablet and cell phone without the restrictions of this tablet. Lifesprk also has hands on caregivers but my grandfather lives outside the service area for that I was told. Hopefully it is a while before that is needed but I wish we could use it. In the mean time he has a button on the tablet he can use to talk to a social worker or nurse about basic issues. read more

My wife has had some small strokes and she has congestive heart failure and has become quite frail. I contacted Lifesprk for some help with how to best care for her. The Lifesprk Life Care Manager was very kind and patient with my wife. She took her shopping to look for foods she would like, and they both liked needle work and they formed a strong connection over their shared interests. It's been great to have a professional come by to check in on her and help improve the overall quality of her life. I was worried at first because my wife can be pretty feisty at times, but the Life Care Manager did a great job of first engaging her, gaining her trust and then started to focus in on her care plan. I would strongly recommend Lifesprk and their Life Care Manager model of helping seniors. read more
