The information provided at the time of a quote clearly explains payment options. Anyone who didn't understand the difference between a pay in full discount vs. a monthly payment plan simply didn't pay attention from the onset. Now, for my experience ... after doing business for 30 years with a large company that only sells its "brand," I decided to shop with independent agents. After numerous attempts to get some local area agents to be responsive (return phone calls, emails, etc.), I ran across CIA in Mt. Juliet. That's when I finally found someone knowledgeable with a focus on customer service.
