My Husband and I took a trip around the British Isles and in a shop...I think it was in Scotland,…read morewe found the "Bulldog" sculpture...My husband was born and raised in Georgia, USA...needless to say, he is a University of Georgia Bulldog fan (National Champions for 2022 and 2023 - American College Football)...(Gooo Dawgs!) he absolutely loved the sculpture and I insisted that we could not take it home with us...it was just too large! (Also pretty expensive)...I knew that he would love it, so when we got home I looked and looked on-line to find it! I did find it at MP Gallery!!! It did take awhile (about 2 months) for them to order it and send it to us...but they did! It arrived without a scratch! I'm not going to give it to him until June (his birthday)...but I know...he will love it and I am proud to give it to him. The gallery folks actually contacted me for follow-up...I'm pretty impressed with them!

Charter Hall is the main venue in Colchester for stand-up comedy and tribute bands to perform…read more Recent visitors have included Roy 'Chubby' Brown and other high-class acts. Although some performers are not to everyone's taste, the hall itself is well-equipped with padded seat and reasonable acoustics. The atmosphere is dragged down by the fact that the hall is attached to the town's only leisure centre badminton courts painted on the floor are one feature caused by this. Staff are usually quite helpful and parking is ample, although you now have to pay to park. In all, a reasonable venue three stars.
