I'm not always the biggest fan of Lids. This is usually because I cannot find the correct size for my head. When I do, it's always in a design that I do not like in the least.
When I came in here the other day I was just in here to browse, but would have been inclined to buy if something caught my eye. I knew it was a long shot but I was hoping that I would find a hat for my Alma Mater. Struck out there, so I figured I would move on and just browse through. Nothing wrong with another Pirates hat. However a lot of them look awful in design.
Of course, the ones that did catch my eye were the clearance ones. And where were they located? All the way at the top of the rack. So I needed assistance to look at them. No problem, quite simple actually. However the ones I liked were way to small for my head. Would have been nice if they were to have fit, especially since they were like $5 instead of the nearly $30-40 a hat goes for in here.
Sad to say, but I walked out of here without a new hat. I am sure I will find a new one someday, but that day was not this particular day. read more
