September is a great time to visit. The weather is perfect and the water is refreshing. We found parking easily and walked down a few sets of stairs, maybe a 5 minute walk. You'll be greeted the famous Pugliese turquoise water. The setting is gorgeous and rocky. There is a little cafe that serves all the typical drinks and light bites. Loved the vibe and I realize we were lucky with our timing. I don't recommend in the middle of summer through August as it's packed everywhere in Italy.

If you come here you'll see it's something almost exclusive for those places. The ambient is rig out accurately, a mix of Caribbean, African and Salento Stile. You can find fresh fish of the day. We ate Frisa classica, spaghetti con Le triglie (first class), grilled tuna (fresh and perfect cooked). You can not miss the "caffe in ghiaccio". The bill was a little bit to high for Salento.
