Everyone we spoke to at our Hotel said this was the place to go!…read more When we went in it seemed....well a little rustic compared to the other restaurants we had been recommended to visit. However, it was wonderful! In the front there is a sort of meat/deli/coffee counter...and in the back several rooms. You will need a reservation or be okay with waiting a bit. Everyone was there and the tables are shared. I would call the food very delicious and of the local regional favorites. I had some spinach/cheese/bread dumplings that looked like giant gnocchi that were out of this world. The prices were unbelievably low and the quality of food and service high-check it out if you are in Brescia!

What a beautiful surprise! This place has served us the yummiest of meals while in Brescia, Italy…read more The service was great! They did have English menus for us and 2 of the waiters we met speak great English. The price was equivalent if not better than the prices in Los Angeles, Ca. This gives me a feeling like an Gelena's in Venice, Ca. That hipster vibe in Brescia! Yes! I recommend calling in or stopping by. It was busy but not packed on a Wednesday night. Weekends may be Vee busy.

Atmosphere: 5 Super cute osteria! We got seated in the inner…read moreroom with cute brick arch ceiling. It is dimly lit with several tables. Parking is available right across the street too. They have English speaking staff and an English menu. Their burger menu is not in English though. Their menu is expansive and there are so many things I want to try!!! Service: 5 Their staff is very friendly and welcoming! We didn't have to ask about anything complicated so I'm not sure about their level of English in answering more complicated questions. Service is a bit slow but they did say that the burger was going to take 20 minutes. Flavors: 4 I very much enjoyed their pickled veggies and cured meat. The gnocchi is handmade and has a nice chewy texture. I haven't seen gnocchi this small before! The portion was huge so I did feel like there is a lot of gnocchi and thus very one notes on flavor and texture after a while. My husband said the burger was so so, but I didn't have a bite. Overall, I would go there again to try other things on their menu. They have so many things that seem local that we don't get to try!
