I happened to be near by and didn't want to pass up on checking out the new store. I believe there's one over in Cherry Hill too. It's pretty much like Aldi's. No bags, you can buy a brown bag for a few cents or just bring your own (or what I did and just carried in my hands, and this method helps you to not over shop lol) I was able to get fresh baked pretzels and 4 focaccia rolls, mortadella, prosciutto, brie and a few other things for about 24 bucks. Big cheese section. Aisles weren't crowded, easy to navigate, very clean looking. I'll definitely check out the Cherry Hill location soon. read more

When a person has nothing going on in his life, he has a whole lot of time to do absolutely nothing... Today's version of free time landed me inside this LiDL since I was in the area and had never been inside one before.... This place is like the Whole Foods of budget supermarkets... Produce.... Organic. Seafood.... Humanely caught Meats.... Organic Bakery items.... Looked freshly baked Plenty of stuff in the center of the store from cookware to some clothes. This is where this visit gets weird... In places like this, there's usually at least 10 registers with only one open with one cashier ringing out a 50 person single line..... I'm about the 4th person in line.. Some polite person came up to me and said "I'll ring you out in line 5 Sir"!! That gesture alone guaranteed that I'll be back! All of that browsing and I only walked out with one item... I didn't stop to actually shop. But I found the greatest razor that I've ever used here.. Razors are pretty expensive. I picked this item up 3 times before finally deciding to buy it. Since it was only $3.99 for the handle and a 5 razor cartridge, I wouldn't have been disappointed if it left me bleeding all over the house after trying it... This wound up being the smoothest shave that I've had at home in years. So I'll be back for the 4 cartridge pack that was only $6.99 I get excited about the little things in life... Anything more than that makes me an extremely happy man. read more

Opening weekend. New Jersey's first Lidl! Crowded parking lot and store, but quick lines. Great selection of baked goods even at 7 pm. Free samples of cheese right now. Easy to get to, just past ShopRite. Definitely will be back when in the area. Look out, Aldi. read more

Finnallyyyy!!! I was so happy seeing Lidl out here in nj!!! Almost like going to a new Lidl in Germany, they have this area at the entrance where you can get oven baked fresh bread and Brötchen and of course: bretzel and laugenbrötchen. And let me tell you, there were amazing. If you like them or even miss them and live in this area, that's a must go! Cheap and tasteful! Great variety, well sorted, organic stuff and seasonal selection of international food like Greek olives and sushi rice, as all Germans know from stores back home. German chocolate with different flavors like pistachio or mint, in organic or the cheaper one for 99cent, tried both and both are amazing. Please please please open a Lidl in Atlanta!!!! read more

Solid little grocery store. Not that ironically it looks a lot like the LIDLs in Ireland - same open layout that is easy to see from the entire store. We dropped by here to get some produce and snacks and were happy with the selections of avocados and store brand almonds (more pricey here than at the LIDL in the UK but still cheaper than other grocery stores here domestically). It was easy to get around from aisle to aisle and collect everything we needed. They are a small store so they don't have the largest selection of items in each section but what they do have is good quality items and that is what counts! We were in and out of there in 15 minutes with a cart full of goodies. Prices were reasonable and checkout was quick and efficient. Way to go LIDL! read more

I give two stars only for the prices. In the past year this store has drastically went downhill in regards to cleanliness and customer service. Every time I go to this store during the checkout process the persons ringing me up does not speak to me (ex "hello how are you") instead they are talking on their walkie talkie earphone things about personal matters, it's just plain rude. The last time I went to this store was about a week ago on a Friday evening around 8pm. I went in the women's room before I started shopping and was greeted with a stall door hanging half off of the hinges, then when I went into the stall that actually had a door there was no toilet paper. This is a brand new building, in no way should this place be in such disrepair. Disgrace. read more

Lidl...yippee skippee. Mein Schatz and I finally had a chance to check-out this much anticipated location. It does not disappoint! First, the exterior...it totally looks like a German grocery store. I thought I was back in Germany again. The interior was bright, well lit, and spacious with roomy aisles -- more like an Edeka than a Lidl, but I'm not complaining. It was nice to have a little breathing room for once. The produce was well stocked, fresh in appearance, and very reasonably priced, as were the meats and dairy products. The bakery is off the chain!! Bavarian pretzels, semmel, and other goodies. The prices are a little bit higher than Aldi's; however, this Lidl offers more variety than Aldi. Also, the candy aisle leaves a little bit to be desired. Not much in the way of German throwbacks, which would have been a welcome surprise. That aside, they do carry the standard American treats. We look forward to returning, but not as much as we look forward to Lidl branching out closer to our home base. Bis spaeter! read more

Super new store opened a few days before thanksgiving 2017! I paid under $.60 for a dozen large eggs and paid less than $.70 for a loaf of white bread. The prices are excellent for 90% of the items. This is a great alternative to the local ALDI in the area. They even have an app to save more money by allowing you to clip coupons. Only downside, the parking lot is tiny. read more

My boyfriend and I went here to Lidl on Tuesday we will not go back ever again we were followed the whole time we were there,by lost prevention and by the employees,sorry don't need to steal we spent more then $200.00 it makes you so uncomfortable,then when we checked out the girl at the register didn't scan my mushrooms the lady behind me got my mushrooms,all the meat bag of chicken and ground turkey smelled and tasted gamey,it was nasty tasting. read more

The selection of products is Ok. Here is what really bothers me at this store, when I finally get ready to check out the horror begins and I way to often find myself in some cramped space at the end of a very slow moving line. There are often problems with prices and the checkout personnel is just not very motivated to be of help or solve those little problems. It happened more than once that I spent 10 minutes waiting because I had all my shopping placed on the belt and I didn't wanted to put it all back in the cart and push it over to another checkout. Yesterday I just left everything on the belt, walked out and drove across town to Aldi. Your store managers walk around with their little electronic devices and don't like it if a customer interrupts them. Sent your store managers to Aldi and let them see how checking is done right. Your whole fancy checkout setup is a hindrance, takes up way to much space and slows everything down. You will have a tough time getting me back into your store. read more

As someone who is not a fan of aldi, I didn't have high hopes for this store. I was wrong. Pleasantly surprised. The Lidl in Vineland is very clean and organized. The produce is always fresh and stays long in my fridge. The selection is limited, but to be expected at these stores. The baked goods have all been tasty. I save about $100 a week buying what I can here over Shop Rite and Acme. And it's so affordable that it allows me to buy largely organic now. Some staples are missing. They were carrying almond milk then suddenly stopped. And I won't buy all of my meats here. The chicken I purchased was good though. I even have purchased paper and cleaning products here and they were good. The cashiers are all pleasant. The parking lot is clean and seems safe. read more
