This Lidl is way better than the one on Oxford Road. Whist that one is small and cluttered, this one is small and organized (and less busy). Its got a much wider range so you can actually (kind of) do your weekly shop here whereas the other Lidl lacks essential produce.
Its directly alongside Asda as well which I do find a little strange. Asda is the same as Lidl but they charge a bit more. It's a sliding scale of supermarketing from Waitrose down to Netto, and Lidl and Asda are pretty close together, towards the bottom end. For me Lidl is the superior venue, as the quality is better than Asda and its cheaper. In Lidl the pasta comes from Italy, but in Asda it probably comes from an industrial factory in the north east. On the other hand, Asda has literally everything whereas you may find Lidl doesn't have what you're looking for.
So, it is better than Asda, but only a LIDL bit better. read more
