Regular offers are displayed outside the stores and flyers are available inside and delivered to local addresses showing upcoming offers. The ice creams are regularly on offer and very tasty but are a strange consistency when melted! The staff are very friendly and helpful but I do find the price labelling on the shelves a bit confusing as it covers several different items on different shelves below. Lidl sells many other items in addition to food and recently had some great offers on a selection of musical instruments so its always worth a good look if your passing. The day it opened the car park was overflowing but since then Ive never had a problem finding a parking space and the queues although they look long sometimes do move very quickly.

It is one of the largest markets that I have been to in Cornwall however there are plenty of larger ones up country, although this one does get very busy particularly in the afternoons when it sometimes feels that half of Cornwall are there, if just for the food outlets in front of the main building. There are hundreds of parking places so you are pretty much guaranteed a space. Although you can usually find what you are looking for, it is best to be careful as the prices are often quite high and better bargains can be found elsewhere.

There is a huge array of things that you can buy at the market from pet supplies to jewellery, homewares and it even has a beauty salon! There's always a bargain to find in the market and also right next door they have Ben's Playworld which is a soft play place for children of most ages. Whenever I take my kids to the market they behave impeccably as they know if they do we will go to Ben's before we leave! At this time of year Cornish Market World is the ideal place to get all those christmas stocking fillers and with such a wide mix of goods you could get all your Christmas presents under the same roof in one day! Fair selection of food and the occasional bargains which, it has to be said, are good when you can get them. they have just had a bit of a makeover (presumably so they don't look so shoddy against the shiny new Tesco) and it does look very nice in there now. They have retained the cafe, deli and hot food counters as well.

Hey this is the place to go for up-market furnishings. They have a huge collection of wallpaper…read moredesigns and their soft furnishings are amazing. The staff seem to know everything and they are not at all stuffy but the prices are top end. Having said that there seems to be something to suit everyone and they will come out to visit you. There used to be a cafe as well but that only opens in the evening. There is a private car park across the road but you have to take your life in your hands crossing said junction. Quite a surprise to find such a classy shop in a small market town.

They only lose one star really as the aisles really aren't wide enough to get a push chair or wheel chair around with ease and without getting bits of clothing stuck in your wheels! Looe Chandlery can be found at the Millpool, in West Looe, just down from the large amusements…read morearcade which is on the end of Looe Bridge. This a fabulous place to buy fishing related items, from bait to rods, hooks to floats etc. Not only that but this large shop has really nice clothing, swimwear, wetsuits etc. All good brands too! It also sells all the essential items you would want to find in a tourist aimed shop! Buckets, spades, inflatables, watches, sunglasses, tide clocks, souveniers, toys, even them good ol' crabbing lines! It's all there! You can't possibly come to Looe and not go crabbing on the Quay! It is the in thing to do lol. The legendary staff are extremely friendly and very helpful and knowledgeable in what they sell which is a bonus! It is also a very good place to inquire about the best fishing trips etc. Outside of the shop you will find to it's side, a wall display case with many a number and details of deep sea fishing trips or boats/equipment for sale/hire. There is plenty of parking nearby, with Millpool car park being Looe's biggest, set in the beautiful surroundings of Looe Valley :)

This rather quaint shop sells products which are designed for tourists to the Cornwall area…read more Predominantly marketing Cornish wares, jam packs and fudge tins, etc, it also sells a wide range of rather strange ornamental goods and a few toys in the obscure offshoot at the back of the store. Think those rather odd indoor water features, and ornamental frogs and you're not far off! The Christmas decs are always pretty good though. The prices are very reasonable and there is forever a 'clearance' sale on which makes it good for cheap souvenirs or for young kids buying birthday presents for mum. Off the main street, it offers good wheelchair access and friendly service.

Of copurse, it has got a lot busier recently, so it's a good job that another one has opened in Saltash. Some of their bargains are simply astounding.
