I was livid - being screwed around during the biggest purchase most people ever make! The worst part is, she was posting updates on social media about all her social outings all week! I hired this law firm to do two things for me. i live in the USA and my mom lives in Toronto. i…read moreretained there services $3000 to find out if my mother has extra benefits since the death of her husband and to get me a copy of the death certicate. i explained to them that the death certificate was of urgent care and i would appreciate asap. whenever i called or emailed, it would be weeks until i get a response. coincidentally I got the death certificate on my own. as for the benefits , she said she wrote the accountant, who responded that she was not aware of anything extra. i considered the the matter closed and our business complete. at this point i requested my refund since i found half of the information on my own. it took weeks for a respond. they agreed to returning most of my money, but every time I requested my refund I got no response. i still have not received my refund and now they are claiming that they did a lot of work that i am not aware of. i would rate them 1. they appear to be very professional, but it's just to get you to retain them. after that they are very unprofessional. do not use this law firm. 1 star
