However, it saddens me to have to only assign 3 stars to this location. First and foremost, i do realize most younger readers prefer sitting on floors to read anyways, but it would help if there were more chairs and tables available. Secondly, the accessibility to working computer stations is limited to. The choice of books is tailored around the space allotted. But, a good swapping system allows a book to be delivered if available at any other location within Abilene public libraries. I may sound a bit harsh, but if your goal is to attract younger readers, the path is still long, perilous and hard to follow. But i am confident in your abilities to improve and draw every single reader (young or otherwise). After all, words are what makes the worls go round and round.

But as soon as my curious 2yo wandered into the computer lab/stem room & found a bin of legos that she touched for a total of maybe 8 seconds lol, the bald headed man marched in there & started watching us, making me feel as if I'd let my toddler freaking steal something?! I even said oh sorry she's just a curious toddler, we're just wandering. He didn't say a word & continued to be rude & correct anything she touched. I went to this library to use the computer and printing sevices. The computers were slow to…read morefunction. I was amazed they had a charging dock for phones! I went to the charging station, but the chargers were VERY slow to charge. They would not charge above 9%. This was disappointing. I went home to make certain that my phone was working and it worked with other chargers. Printing is 10 cents a page for black and white. The printing machine was very easy to use. The library was clean and organized. It was very hard to move around in a wheelchair . It would be beneficial to have more ADA wheelchair spaces. The renting policies for books and videos are great.

My two year old always enjoys going up there to pick out books, and participating in their story time, summer reading challenge, and various fun activities! We are fortunate to have such a wonderful library here in Weatherford!
