Most of the teachers are great but some are so horrible that I don't even know how they became teachers. The Principal Dr Coady has no back bone at all and lets everyone tell her how they are going to do what they want and how they think she needs to do her job. So many complain but no one does anything. I have even contacted the BOE several times and yet they have never once done anything about any of the problems.

They use catchy phrases and songs, all delivered soothing voices, to teach techniques and remind the children of water safety. I love that the teachers are not deterred by tears, and encourage the children to work through their fears. Because this is an LA Fitness, there is a large parking lot outside, and plenty of space available in the locker rooms for changing clothes or showering before and after the pool. However, the swim school also keeps two little pop-up tents inside the pool area where students can change clothes. The temperature is warmer inside the pool area so my girls often prefer to change clothes after class in the tents.
