    I bought an LG Range on 1/10/22. I also purchased the LG Premium Care Plan for three years (at extra cost). On 11/10/23 the display light started malfunctioning. I called and filed a claim with LG and LG Premium on 11/10/23 for a technician to come fix the issue. I had the same issue with my previous range but after 20 years (the malfunction had a domino effect on the entire range finally I had to purchase a new range, hence the LG range I'm having issue with now). Three times a technician was scheduled to come by and fix the issue and each time the technician was a no show. I called numerous times trying to find out what is going on but was given the run around. As of today 11/22/23 no one has come by to fix the issue. Buy at your own risk.

    LG is incredibly unsupportive. Alexis, who claims to be the top of customer service, did nothing to help out and made excuses instead. After months of talking to LG employees, the responses were that they'd get back to us in a couple days. After a couple days, no call back. This happened a few times. WE called back each time and the reports (yes, plural) were either lost or submitted incorrectly. Even the technicians who came out were really upset with LG. Stay away from their extended warranty. They will do all they can to void your warranty. Honestly, stay away from LG products completely. Research companies with positive customer support experiences to avoid the longest headache. If you're spending up to 1500 on an appliance, you should get a warranty but be sure that your warranty is with a company that cares. Edited to add that the company PUSHED to have the unsafe oven tested, despite the technician's warnings.

    Very disappointed.... I ordered a new refrigerator direct from LG.com, and during delivery the rear panel was bent up. I requested a new replacement panel and the next thing I know lg was trying to deliver a new refrigerator. I did not want a new refrigerator, I only wanted a new panel. I went thru a lot getting the first unit in the house, after removing my front door, an interior door, then removing all the refrigerator doors and drawer just to get it into the kitchen!! The last thing I wanted was to go thru that again. Then only to be told they won't replace any parts, only the whole unit? How fricking stupid is that? I will never purchase another lg product again. There customer service is for crap!! I don't recommend them at all!!!

He worked efficiently, replaced the supply tube quickly, and addressed the actual underlying issue that the other guy completely missed. It's rare to find someone who knows the engineering of these high-end appliances this well. If you have a complex issue or a high-end brand, don't waste your time with anyone else--CJ is the one to call!

Despite that, the total charge was very high and far out of proportion to the parts and labor involved. For only a few hundred dollars more, I could have replaced the entire dryer. I felt taken advantage of due to my lack of technical knowledge about appliance repairs. Because of this, I would not use his service again and recommend others ask for a detailed quote and parts breakdown beforehand, better yet, find someone more reasonable.

Sergey came right on time the next day. He took the time to put covers on his shoes and was very patient while listening to my explanation of the problem - including dealing with folding mirrored doors that needed to be removed to access the dryer. Sergey was very organized and methodical. He skillfully removed the heavy doors and pulled the dryer out, being careful not to damage the track the doors roll on. He checked the back of the dryer and then the vent on the roof. He showed me photos of the clog in the vent and gave me a price for cleaning it. He said he may need to clean inside the dryer as well. After seeing how much lint came out of the vent hose, I told him to go ahead and clean inside the dryer as well. I'm glad I did, it was a fire hazard waiting to happen! Sergey cleaned everything up and carefully put the mirrored doors back on - making sure to adjust the screws so they move freely. I will be using Victory for all of my appliances and will recommend them to friends & family. Thank You so much!

Over the span of two weeks, I've…read moreworked with Eli three times, and each visit reinforced how much expertise he brings to refrigerator diagnosis and detailed repair work. He does great work and charges what I think are very reasonable prices for the level of skill and quality involved. The first call was at my mother-in-law's house, where Eli diagnosed a broken compressor in her refrigerator that had stopped cooling. He did a great job working with my mother-in-law whose first language is not English. She was very happy. A few days later, he came to our house after some interior lights stopped working following a deep cleaning. He fixed the lights, then went well beyond that. Our freezer door hinge wiring harness had snapped nearly every wire inside, which had also taken out the ice maker. I'd honestly written the ice maker off after a few failed attempts to repair it myself, but Eli came in and showed it could absolutely be fixed, and done right. He patiently soldered and extended close to ten broken wires, heat-sealing and re-sheathing each one so the same failure wouldn't happen again. His fix also cost much less than replacing the whole door which was what I thought was going to have to be done. Finally, when we noticed water pooling under the refrigerator a few days later, Eli came back and dug into the back of the unit to clear a clogged compressor drain. He cleaned everything out in the process and helped put everything back together perfectly. It's more than just his expertise that I appreciated. Eli is friendly, honest, easy to work with, and a just a nice guy. He also took the time to engage with our three-and-a-half-year-old son, who was glued to every step of the repairs at our house, and made him feel like part of the project. Ever since, our son has been busy "fixing" everything in the house with his own toy tools. I'm really happy to have found Eli and SmartFix. I reached out to Subzero for help, but all they could recommend is that I reached out to Box Appliance which is their preferred repair shop in the SF Bay Area which I already knew before calling. When I told Subzero that the earliest appointment with Box was 15 days later, the phone rep told me that she would reach out to Subzero to expedite the request, but in the end no one from Box got back to me for an earlier appointment. Don't who dropped the ball along the way but I as the customer was left in the cold, even though I got a Subzero but apparently means little when it comes to support. In search for other repair service, I came across Spark Appliance which got many great review. I decided to give Spark Appliance a try. The owner Eli quickly responded to my request and came over the next day. He quickly diagnose the problem to be a relay part issue to the compressor and was 99% sure to be the case. Fortunately, he had the part in the truck so was able to replace it right away. Additionally, he cleaned up my very dusty machinery to keep the refrigerator running efficiently. My freezer is still running fine few days later after the fix, so I can confidently say the problem was correctly resolved. I was lucky to have found Spark Appliance through this ordeal even though Box or Subzero did not come through. I found Eli and Spark Appliance to be experienced, reliable and honest, and I won't hesitate to call them again whenever I have future appliances issues (they work on all things appliances and not just refrigerator!)
