When I asked about a free trial, which is pretty much the standard in the industry, the biggest players have no issues letting you try their software before you buy, he said I could as long as I provide a credit card. Um, NO. When you provide credit cards, people get charged money for things, and it is always hell to cancel, sometimes not even getting your money back. Free, means FREE stupid. If you are not willing to allow me the opportunity to test your software in a real environment, I have no interest. I expressed my confusion in a reply email to him, at which time he replied "PROCESS SERVER CENTRAL WILL NOT DO BUSINESS WITH (insert my business name here). I was really disappointed to hear that. NOT! At that point, you could not pay me enough to even demo your stupid program. Do not waste your time with this idiot. There is one company in the industry which really does it right, and that is the program most of the largest process serving companies use. After the very unprofessional communications I received from this moron, and his unwillingness to even let me try the software, so I could make a better decision, I knew at that moment that I would stay with the company I have used for years. I have spoken to many colleagues in this business, one of which actually did provide a credit card details to PSC, for his "free trial". When my colleague tried the software for just an hour, he was charged a substantial amount of money, to wit PSC refused to refund. He had to dispute the charges with his bank in order to obtain his money back. Bottom line, STAY AWAY FROM PROCESS SERVER CENTRAL! JUNK SOFTWARE AND STUPID MANAGEMENT.
