It was like a dream. COS (Collection of Style) is H&M's stylish and refined older sister. Its higher price point allows for ample inventiveness and interesting fabrics. Some of it's a bit over the top for me but nevertheless I often manage to find classic pieces here that I want to wear over and over again. This store - Stockholm's COS flagship - is one of the best stocked I've seen in Europe.

It is a family business and the owners know their stuff and the best part is that they are custom, you can have any style, in any color and any size that fits perfectly. It is a truly couture experience where they take your measurements to make it just right for you. The quality is the best I have seen and I have shopped and traveled all over the world. This is the place and Carina makes it all so easy. I couldn't believe how quickly I received my coat and my friend fell in love with it the minute she saw it so she had to order one as well. That's how great it is. I get compliments every time I go out it in and the first thing every one of my girlfriends says when they see it is, "Can I try it on?" Even with a REA sign on display (which literally stands for "realizing assets" in Sweden), the prices still feel a bit steep. I might just be comparing it to Budapest or Paris, where affordable boutiques are everywhere.Then again, this is the Nordic region. They are very strict about keeping out cheap mass-productions or low-quality goods from third-party countries. Unlike some "Made in Italy" labels that actually rely on exploited cheap labor, Sweden focuses on the real deal. I absolutely love the minimalism of Swedish chic.
