He's well mannered, witty and great with babies and young kids. When we go for a checkup I feel he is a parent first (he has 6 kids of his own) on top of a very experienced doctor. He practices at Pediatric Associates (4th floor of building 14 inside Richland Medical Park close to where Hwy 277 turns into Bull Street). The practice is spacious, well equipped and the staff is very friendly. I highly recommend Dr. Castless as your pediatric doctor.

My last visit was…read morein November 2015, I received a bill for over $200 when nothing was done just waited 45 min to be seen spoke to Dr. Boone then get a ridiculous bill! Called to update my phone number and request refills on my medication, had to ask the receptionist numerous times to calm down and stop raising her voice at me. I asked to speak to someone else several times and was denied. Was told that since I owe a bill that none of my refills will be authorized. How can a doctor knowingly allow a patient to go without medication when I had an appt set up for June months in advance. I told the receptionist that I would make sure it was taken care of before June. She continued on being rude so I told her I am coming to the office because I want to let Dr. Boone know how she is treating me. Get there wait a few minutes Dr. Boone comes out in the waiting room tells me I am interrupting her patient care by coming there but to come on back. I was in shock and told her I am sorry I bothered her and I walked out. I should have listened to everyone when they told me she makes unnecessary appts just to make money because my insurance covers two visits a year and after the second follow up visit she still needed to see me. I am upset because here I go and drive all the way to the office assuming that my doctor would see that something must be wrong for one of her patients to just show up at her office, instead she comes out just as rude as her staff all because I have not paid a past due bill! I am so happy I got away from them people! Luckily I found a new doctor just in time in March so that I can continue taking my medication without any interruptions! Experience: My boys have been seeing Dr. Rice since birth and she does a tremendous job. She refers you to a specialist without hesitation to ensure all steps are taken to provide your child with the best care. She is great with giving options on prescriptions, informing you on the quality and cost. Cons: The wait time is entirely too long even if you have a scheduled appointment. Needs more kid friendly activities in the waiting area. (cartoons on T.V, toys, books) Experience: I had a scheduled appointment at 2:00 pm and was not seen until 2:40. Once I was seen I realized that the doctor's were booked with several patients. Something I do not have the luxury of. I've done maternity chiropractor care. And have gotten adjustments many times in the last 10 years. This may suit your needs if you are a non working person, maybe retired person or yoga mom. This is not the place if you're busy, need help in a reasonable amount of time ... I would say 45 minutes is reasonable. But this place even to go over x-rays was going to take 1.5 to 2 hours. And again they did not accept my PPO from a blue Shield.
