Needed to add a kitchen and two full baths, as well as closets, move beam and add a laundry area. It came out fantastic. This group--from Tracey Perry's help with design (amazing!) to Mike Heinrich's detailed budget which they stuck to and Bill Schmidt's communication on every detail, it was actually a pleasant experience. I highly recommend this group. In between my two projects with Cape & Islands Kitchens I did another property with a well known, popular Falmouth builder (hint: begins with an "L"). It was a DISASTER. Do not be fooled by the lower initial numbers--you will pay in the end and the quality of work will suffer. I was a bit shocked at first however they are doing a lot more work than I even imagined. Example; my home is antique and well over 100 years old. Reinforcing and leveling the floor took about 2 weeks but when the project was done the floor repair was totally necessary and added so much to the finished result. Also if you are hoping the project will be done in a few weeks, it might, however the bigger the project the more chance for delays. Pros: I was communicating with a team of extremely competent people. Each is a specialist in a narrow field. Greg has an incredible sense of design and really digs into the details. Sonja handles the crew that does the prep, construction and heavy lifting. Mylia coordinates all products to be ordered. Special shout out to Bill who handles anything going on with all the crews. He returns your text or call in a minute or less and remembers every detail of your project. No regrets for me.

We just had new quartz countertops installed by Cape Granite Connection, and we could not be more…read morepleased. This is why: 1. They had a beautiful piece of quartz, that we loved. 2. They were extremely timely, completing previous countertop removal, and measurements exactly as planned, AND VERY timely.... So our lives where disrupted very briefly. 3. Fabrication and installation was quick! 4. Here's the best part.... The counters are beautiful and fit to perfection. The way the seams were done is brilliant! In fact, you would have to study the countertop to even find the seams. In addition , they actually fabricated the back splashes to line up with the veins in the countertop. 5. Both men who removed, measured and installed were friendly, and clearly dedicated to fine craftsmanship. 6. The total cost was fair, and actually came in BELOW the original estimate. 7. I asked if they could give me a 2'x2' piece of quartz for a small rolling island I am building, and they did so free of charge. Basically, I think we found the perfect place to go for our countertops! Highly recommend!!! As a follow up, it even gets better. When our stove was delivered we discovered that it was not a standard size slide in, so the space had to be enlarged. We were a bit panicked, but Cape Granite Connection assured us all would be well. They apologized in writing and offered to remove it and refund us. But they strung us along and did not remove the countertop until we could not longer dispute the charge with our credit card. After the uninstallation they sent an email stating they were issuing a refund but they never did and we could no longer reach them. I do have emails confirming they were to issue the refund so I am pursuing legal action. They are very good at making you think they will take care of things but then they stall and stall and its now obvious I should have never trusted them.

We're in the market for a kitchen backsplash to finish our renovations. We got 5 samples of tile from Home Depot, most arrived chipped and broken. Not to be discouraged, we decided to nix the big box brand and shop local. My parents purchased their kitchen floor here years ago, and the service hasn't wavered a bit. Their showroom is extensive, and you're greeted upon arrival. Betty quickly honed in on what we were looking for, and took us straight to the section that could meet our needs. After showing her the granite we already have, she brought out several samples and a few that varied a bit from what we said we were looking for. Well, we brought a sample home, and the one we fell in love with was actually quite different than what we thought we were looking for! They have a huge array of products at different prices. Our selection just happened to be on the low end, at $11/sq. ft. Some other marble tiles we viewed were as much as $50/sq. ft. You definitely get what you pay for - $11 was a little more than we were looking at from Home Depot but the quality of the product and the service were so much higher at Cloutier, it's worth it!
