We had high hopes of finding good quality craftsmanship at a decent price. We had a very specific idea in mind and none of the other 10 shops or the Grand Bazzaar could deliver. We walked in and Mr. IZZY offered us refreshments, treated us with respect, and listened to our requests. After we made it clear what we were looking for he pulled the perfect coat off the shelf. The price was a little more than we had hoped so we started negotiations. Once we settled on a price for one coat we were so satisfied we began looking for other coats we really wanted. We ended up walking out with 2 leather coats ( one with fur) and a Llama coat with fur. The total cost for all 3 was just over $1000 dollars. We could have easily spent that amount on 1 coat in the states. After the deal was done Mr. IZZY continued to be kind to us. We stopped by 2 more times durring our stay for advice and he was genuinely happy to help. I highly recommend this shop to anyone looking to buy a quality leather coat during their visit to Istanbul.

Had a great experience shopping here.. when it was open, lol…read more I was helped by a friendly male and female SA, did not catch their names, but they were great. Luckily what I wanted was in stock. They offer tax-free, but just make sure when you go to the airport to claim they actually accept it, as for some reason mine did not even though I know I received official global blue documents and I only found out when I went through security and all that to the actual redemption booth (FYI Istanbul airport does NOT make it easy to redeem tax-free shopping. You have to check in and visit 2 different counters and get in line with all the other tourists that thought it would be easy and actually show your items to them and then go through security and customs to redeem your refund at another counter and that's where you'll finally know what was accepted and what wasn't unless you inspect all your documents for stamps at the second counter.) The hours online say they're open on Sundays, but they're not. After shopping, stop off at the Cafe in the front lobby for a tea or coffee with a view :)
