I've been attending school through Wah Lum for over 15 years now and I also went to China with Master Chan. I've studied some Kung Fu and Tai Chi at the school on Goldenrod but also attended many special sessions for anniversaries and cruises. I can't say any thing bad about these schools. They run a tight ship so don't think you are going to get off easy! You must train hard and take the training seriously. If you think they are going to let you flop around the temple and be lazy well you need to find a different place to be lazy. There is no lazy at Wah Lum!!! A+ school and Master Chan is the best. I will always thank him for the teachings that he has given me personally and also that privledge of learning at one of his many other schools. I will always think of this style and school as being my home away from home because they treat there students like family. Oh, did you see that I mentioned cruises? and the trip to China? That's because every once in a while they get the schools together and they go on trips. During those trips they practice Kung Fu and Tai Chi. My trip to China was amazing and we spent three weeks in China visiting the different schools and temples. The cruises are basic 5, 7 or 10 day cruises but the best thing is that you get to train at Kung Fu at sea! Pretty freaking cool!!! Check the schedule and find a time when you are able to go by and check things out. Bring your kids to have them check out the kids classes! Find a price plan which works for you and have fun getting in to shape learning traditional Kung Fu and Tai Chi!

Copying my Google review from about a year ago here…read more. Great clean, well-maintained and friendly environment. Great play spaces. Heads up for TheClubs.com members... For some reason (buyout/takeover?) they are no longer associated with TheClubs.com, so a membership from one of the other Clubs is no longer honored here; a local daily pass or 6 month membership is required. The staff doesn't know why they are no longer affiliated. They just have a notice behind the desk telling them that none of the other Clubs' memberships are honored anymore. They did credit our daily pass fee toward a 6--month membership (4 visits gives you a full ROI). Curiously, their membership cards still use The Clubs logo and they still have TheClubs.com website on their homepage, even though they are no longer part of it. They are in need of some website cleanup.

There is a possibility that one of their employees could get any information on that piece of document. I already paid the entrance fee which is not refundable per their website. And don't forget to get it back when you leave b/c you don't want to drive without license.

The class was at like 12 on a Thursday and ended roughly around 1 I think. Robert greeted us at the door, extremely friendly and encouraging. I signed a waiver. He helped me with my wraps, I brought my own gloves (they have ones you can purchase or borrow as well). Warm up was jump roping, jumping jacks, then a bob and weave exercise focused on technique. There was encouraging feedback throughout the class, we did combos with a partner that involved high kicks, jabs, hooks, etc. Then we did core work. I read another review that said the class is super tight knit and that is very true. I don't know if my experience would've been different had I not accompanied a long time member however I do know that I really enjoyed the vibe of the class, Robert and how challenging the workout was. A note: the doors are left open to invite in a breeze, so there's no AC. Be comfortable with pouring sweat- it lets out ALLL the toxins. I was very impressed to get a text from Robert thanking me for visiting the class and offering 20% off anything from the pro-shop. You can tell he runs this business with a lot of heart. He's super knowledgeable and very motivational. If I lived in the area, I'd definitely return!
