He took the time to understand my music preferences and the overall vibe I wanted, and he absolutely delivered. DJ Buddy and Chris had incredible energy throughout the night and did an amazing job reading the crowd. The music flowed perfectly from one part of the evening to the next, and the dance floor stayed full because they knew exactly what to play and when to play it. Buddy definitely hooked us up for my daughter's sweet 16. Izzy was our DJ and had the party on the dance floor all night, everyone thought he was awesome. I met DJ Buddy at an event I was attending over 12 years ago that he was DJing. Being in the entertainment business also, I struck up a conversation with him. We hit it off and exchanged cards. We have passed business back and forth and hired each other to do events. He most recently DJd a holiday party for a group I referred to him who were very pleased with everything about him. I heard compliments for some time after. Let's start by saying, before we booked DJ Buddy we read all the reviews and were excited for him to do our wedding. That being said, there was a lot of confusion at the wedding of who was doing announcing and the music selection. Most of what we wanted played was not but people still danced and had a good time. Full disclosure, I did edit this review because DJ Buddy addressed our concerns and assured us that some of our problems would not happen again and apologized. I would book DJ Buddy again but next time I would verify everything I want played, go over the announcements and confirm everything multiple times. read more

As a professional in the industry, I recommend a lot of companies to brides and grooms and would not recommended ones that I have either not worked with or have had a bad experience with. This DJ was horrible, DJ Buddy. We paid him 1300 dollars to not hear any songs that we requested. He decided that my first dance with my wife should only be about 30 seconds long and then brought everyone on to the dance floor. The first dance with the father of the bride was also about 30 seconds. We gave him detailed song / genre requests which seemed to be completely disregarded. We specifically requested DJ Buddy because he told us that he was the best and then at the wedding he wasn't even the one DJing. He brought another guy with him. The DJ swears that his video of me having fun at my wedding is proof that hes a great DJ. The only thing that's proof of is me being able to enjoy my own wedding despite having a poor DJ. I'll change my review when I get a refund check in the mail. The only good things I can say about this service was that they were on time and they tried to get the crowd involved. I would not recommend this company for your wedding. read more

The only reason I gave this company 2 stars is because they showed up and played music. I would not recommend this DJ to any bride ever. I contracted DJ buddy to MC my wedding. he showed up with another DJ as intended but unfortunately left for over 2 hours during my wedding reception. it was my understanding that DJ buddy would be there the entire time and would be our MC. The DJ that we had in place of him was far from an MC and was not interactive with the crowd and did not seem to keep the reception flowing. DJ buddy is an all star and that's who I thought I was hiring had I known I was not going to get DJ buddy like he promised I would have gone with another company. this was a nightmare for me and added to ruining my night. heartbreaking but true and all I wish was that this company would make it right and they haven't even bother to reach out to me regardless of the emails and reviews I have sent and created. brides beware a smiling face and an outgoing personality does not always mean that's what you will get on your wedding day read more

Lets Party DJ's was such a great company to work with. Katrina made everything so easy and efficient. I had no worries! She set me up with Phil for my sorority formal and he was amazing. Kept everyone dancing the whole night! No one was sitting down from boredom, even the quiet ones were up and dancing! Phil even called me after the party was over to make sure that I did not leave any of my decor behind. People STILL come up to me weeks later raving about the DJ. I also purchased hot pink up lighting for the room which was definitely worth the money. 18 lights that covered the whole room.The room was lit up and it created a fun and sexy atmosphere for members of my sorority and their dates. Apparently the problems we had at our wedding are common with this company. First the good. They were on time and professional. The person who ended up being our DJ, Adonis, was a pleasure to work with and did his best. Now for the bad. We met with them a month before the wedding to go over the details and they basically did not stick to any of it. We met with Buddy and he made it seem like he would be the DJ of our event when he didn't end up showing up until the end(to corner the bride and make feed her lines for their shameless video testimonial and take a promo pic with me and my wife at our table). We gave them a list of songs, types of music we wanted, and artists to stick to but they barely went with it. They also started playing the wrong song for a father daughter dance(one that we SPECIFICALLY requested not to be played at the meeting a month before) before we had to yell out "NO" at our wedding reception and also tell him what the correct song was. Also had no idea what song was supposed to be played when the bride danced with her mom until the bride went over and told him. Also something that was given to them before hand. We had to constantly walk over to the DJ, who again was a complete gentleman, and tell him what to play next because the songs they were playing sucked. We've left several reviews for this company and they seem to be trying to block them instead of taking this feedback constructively and fixing what appears to be a recurring theme recently.
