Leslie is a great attorney, and if you feel that she is not doing her best to fight for you, you can look her in the eye and ask her to fight harder for you and she will do it. However, you have to know what you want her to fight for when you walk through the door. She will ask you what do you want her to do for you, and you should know that answer before you show up at her office. Once you both have figure out what she is going to do for you, she will fight in that direction. I had a very unique case with a woman from another country that was seeking arrears to birth child support. She was able to keep me from having to go to trial by working with the opposition lawyer to settle. It might have cost me a bit more money than I was hoping to spend, but it saved me a lot that I didn't have to shell out in trial hiring experts. The negotiation for a settlement was expensive, but I think it saved me tens of thousands of dollars in the end.
Leslie is a very fair lawyer and when you are in her office, she might seem cold, but that is because she is using the time together to focus on what you need her to do and gathering the information that she needs for your case. "Lets get down to business" would be fitting for her style. She only charges you for when she is working on the case and you won't get mystery bills like I have received from former lawyers.
I also very much appreciate her paralegal and was happy with the way that my information was gathered and organized by her.
Overall I'd recommend Leslie M Brown highly, but again, know what you want her to fight for when you enter her office and talk with her and she will do her best to make that outcome (as long as its realistic) to happen. And also trust her guidance. Sometimes as a man, you are just screwed in court, and she can make that as painless as she can during negotiations. read more
