Lovely little candy store in the village of Apt (which has a dandy Saturday marché, by the way)…read morenear Salon en Provence. Not JUST a chocolate place, but a wide variety of bon-bons. But we went straight for the chocolate, and asked "le petite boit" of assorted dark chocolates, including a few local specialties filled with liqueur! The chocolates were fabulous, thereby, earning a spot on my list of chocolatieres in France. Go to the market, stock up on goodies, grab déjeuner, and visit the Bonbonniere for dessert!

The food is extraordinary throughout the day, but If you can get there early in the morning you will have the warmest, freshest, most outstanding baked goods you've ever had in your life. At least I did. I made the mistake of being modest and ordering one mini chocolate beignet and one pink macaron. One bite into the beignet and I was I heaven! I had a train to catch, so unfortunately I didn't go back for more (the lines are rightfully long) and at just €1 each I should have just binged. I will not make that mistake again. They have them available in quantities of 5 as well and this is what I will get going forward. The macaron wasn't exactly my cup of tea but those with a sweet tooth will surely love it. So I'm sitting here writing this review and contemplating if I should make a mad dash there before they close in 15 minutes, now that I've rehashed the other morning and my mouth is watering. They're that good.

We saw they carry many ice cream with interesting flavor. We got the banana coconut flavor. It was great during the hot day. The coconut flavor was good to have. We like the ice cream to taste while walking.
