She showed me 3 n got po I didn't want all 3 then refused to show me more, while she looked away I grabbed 1 more n got yelled at again. I decided to buy 3 but later I saw a hat for $18 n decided to buy it so I put back 1 shirt, she was so nasty my husband yelled right back, she got it coming n immediately backed off. Read my next review, I was ripped off royally, in Montmartre the hats are $9 n the shirts are $18, I bought $100 worth of souvenirs n told the owner I'll rate him 5 stars. Not recommend the owner should train this woman to learn good customer service n good manners. In 2017 I dealt directly w the owner n he was very nice . I'm exhausted from sightseeing but think it's important people not rewarding rude people.

The gift shops at the Eiffel Tower are managed by the Société d'Exploitation de la Tour Eiffel…read more(SETE). There are several gifts shops, some on the ground level and then others higher up. Lots of cool Eiffel Tower things. I bought a baseball cap and a coffee mug. From the SETE website - what they sell: "Eiffel Tower miniatures and key rings, post cards, medals as well as stationery, clothing, tableware... These items, some of which cannot be found elsewhere, are suited to all ages and budgets." If you are looking to find Eiffel Tower socks, however, well, I had no luck.... You can click on the Yelp link to their website and purchase from there if you forgot to get something when on site. Interesting fact - according to Wikipedia the SETE "now considers any illumination of the tower to be under copyright. As a result, it is no longer legal to publish contemporary photographs of the tower at night without permission in France and some other countries." Another interesting fact - recently (December 2014) gift shop workers went on strike to demand a 300 Euro salary raise (a month?). There are apparently about 50 employees. There are about 7 million visitors to the Eiffel Tower a year.

The selection of goods is small but well curated, and everything is very reasonably priced - although you're paying for quality so don't expect things like €1 fridge magnets! We got a gorgeous tea towel here - something to remind us of our Paris adventure when we're back home and doing the washing up! We actually popped in twice and spoke with a couple of members of staff who were lovely. Both spoke perfect English, and one also introduced us to her gorgeous dog, Victor, who wanted us to play ball with him! Highly recommended.

There is actually quite a few gadgets that were perfect gifts for friends and family back. The best feature by far of this shop is the woman (Catherine) who was working there when I visited. The shop was very busy (another sign of its superiority over other shops in the area) so I had to wait longer than typical to have my purchases rung up. I had no problem with that because I was excited about what I was buying but was very touched when Catherine gave me a free sachet to thank me for my patience. Being my niece's birthday the day I visited here I was looking for something small to add to the gift I had gotten her already. I came in and this is nothing more than a souvenir shop. Which was exactly what I was looking for. I was going to buy the usual schlock here, but decided to browse a little more. I ended up finding a small teddy bear that was perfect for what I needed. Paying for it was a breeze too. While my card was processing the clerk took time to wrap the gift for me and affix a key chain to the bag. While she was doing this we chatted a bit and when she heard it was my nieces birthday she added another key chain and wished my niece a happy birthday as I walked out of the store.
