I ended up purchasing an antique ivory bangle and even though it was more pricey than I wanted to spend, I couldn't be happier with the bracelet. It's gorgeous and I've never seen anything like it before. The shop worker was also very helpful and patient with me, letting me look at almost everything haha! Definitely recommend visiting this place! I've been to other vintage shops and the selection and presentation isn't as nice. Plus the staff aren't as friendly.

It's in the Gothic Quarter and with all these narrow streets, it seemed a bit challenging to even find this place again. The shop is very small, and if others are shopping at the same time, please be prepared for some tight moves. Staff speaks English and I appreciated their response to my questions and their overall knowledge. Most of their journals are made in house, and for me it was a question of size, cover material (leather or book binding), and lined vs. blank paper. Gayle usually rolls her eye every time I find one of these kind of places. She came in this time and happily found a nice card/envelope set, and regretted that we didn't purchase one of their small globes. Other accessories such as ink, magnifying glasses, wax seal stamps, etc. also await. Don't let the small size fool you, as this place is like a dense onion with many layers. My obsessive attention served me well.

Entering PNB is truly like entering secondhand-heaven for a person like me, and as the prices are pretty ok I would totally break my bank account here if my suitcase would allow me to bring more stuff home. When I initially walked in I was kind of disappointed by the small collection of vinyl, but once I began looking through their inventory I was immediately taken by the large amount of jazz, especially Miles Davis, John Coltrane and Chet Baker. Vinyl I had been looking for for quite some time I found here at very reasonable prices. If jazz, or electronica is your thing, this place has you covered.
