I was recommended this salon by a coworker, as I am new to Thomasville and am in need of a great hairdresser.
I agree with the other posters on LC's facebook page as this is a great little place! The outside is unassuming--basically looking like an office--but once you're inside, you are definitely in a salon de beaute.
I was greeted by my hairdresser (Kim) at the front and after briefly discussing my needs and hairstyle, I was asked to put on a smock. I didn't ask the cost of anything--my coworker told me that Les Cheveux was very reasonable. When asked to put on a smock, I started to become nervous.
After changing into the smock, I emerged and grabbed a small styrofoam cup of coffee and a couple of magazines. Everything I mentioned to Kim, I knew she'd heard. I felt, when she started, I was in good hands. While waiting for my hair to process, I heard the other ladies talking about what they were doing on the weekend, etc. As I explained my diet to Kim, the rest of the salon was listening. I ended up sharing pictures of my husband's weight loss. It was funny, but although i have only been in Thomasville for a month, I felt like I had made friends and thanked them for letting me "indulge" my hobbies, etc.
When finished, I had a great cut and color.
And . . . as a final thought--for both a cut and color--both were under $50. This is a place that I will return! ;p read more
