I sent an inquiry notification through their website on a Tuesday night, and received a response call the very next morning. I scheduled an appointment for Friday. I REALLY appreciated the prompt response time and the text confirmation for my appt which was supposed to be between 10-1. I also received an ETA text about 1/2 hour before he arrived. Barry arrived around 10, and it took him all of 5 minutes to fix my Whirlpool freezer (‍) All of 5 minutes! He was very personable and apparently knew what he was doing. Very pleased with the service I received from Lerman Appliances! My refrigerator had an issue where it kept warming up and could not stay at a cool temperature. Ilya came by and diagnosed the problem in a quick and professional manner. He was also super friendly and able to explain the problem in a thorough yet understandable way. In a few days, the necessary circuit board was ordered and they came back to install it. I was told that if the refrigerator didn't cool down within 24 hours, to call them back. My refrigerator began to warm up again so I called them back and let them know the issue. Here is where Lerman really shined and how you know you're dealing with a fair and reliable company. Ilya came back and went through what seemed like all the components of the refrigerator to find that a bit of frost was impeding the air flow between the freezer and the refrigerator. He stayed about an hour or 2 to thoroughly correct this, and my refrigerator has been working great ever since. No additional cost, no additional parts, but he corrected the problem nicely. We have a Miele dishwashers that is about 11 years old. One evening it started beeping and all panel lights lit up. I was told that Meile dishwasher should last about 20 years. So, I went ahead and started looking for someone to possibly repair it. It was a Sunday evening and I messaged Lerman Appliances thru their Angie's List link. I totally did not expect to hear back from anyone till the next business day. I was pleasantly surprised when just a few moments later I received a message back stating that yes, they do work on me Miele dishwashers . I spoke to them the next morning and was able to make an appointment for them to come service the dishwasher. They came and were able to identify and fix the issue. Unfortunately when I went to run a cycle, once again the dishwasher started beeping and all panels lit up. I called them back and they were very helpful and that's when we started troubleshooting one issue after another. They were professional, patient and very fair with me. After a few troubleshooting visits, and ordering needed new parts, we believe we fixed all the issues and hopefully I'll get a few more years out of this dishwasher. They answered the phone on first call, discussed in detail our appliances and issues, scheduled the appointment, followed up with a reminder... VERY professional. This family run business is exceptional. Good value and excellent service. Scheduled a noon appt and Illyas showed up right on the dot. Illyas immediately got to work and found a problem with the ice maker by process of elimination while explaining it all to me. Once the problem was found he quoted a fair price. I had already provided the model nbr so he came with the right replacement. They drop their service charge if I have them do the job. They even offered $20 off for mentioning Yelp. Don't get ripped off by the "large" appliance repair companies that charge a service fee just for showing up. These guys know what they're doing, provide great service and prices and want to keep you as a long term customer. Huge help today-Tech came out for scheduled appointment for fridge that is going from bad to worse. Let me back up a bit- My Home Warranty told me it is not covered because it was a compressor motor, so I ordered the Compressor and called Lerman App to get a price to install. Better than the price was that they had an appointment available within the week. Everybody else was booked for 2-3 weeks not to mention all over the board as far as pricing.. So turns out the Tech from home warranty was wrong, Compressor was fine all I needed was a minor adjustment and Freon. That's the honesty you get here- could of put in the part I ordered, charged me triple and when it didn't fix the problem have to come out and start all over. Instead they went above and beyond to find the REAL issue and resolve it. Best in the business. By far- could of upsold me and I would have been willing to pay - Heat wave and freezer melting ice - all I wanted was it fixed -Best part was it was less than original quote and came with warranty. Stop Reading and Call them- Best sound I've heard in months was ice maker dropping ice cubes!!!!!!! read more

I found Lerman Appliances from positive reviews on Yelp, needing someone to check out my refridgerator because it was leaking. I liked the fact that it was a family run business and they returned my call almost immediately. I explained the situation, took a photo of the leak and sent it to the representative and was told that he knew what the problem was and could be fixed. He gave me a price - $60 for the visit. A very polite technician came and identified the problem immediately. I received a call the next day asking if the issue was still resolved and if I had any further problem with the fridge. I was very happy because I was close to purchasing a new fridge and did not want to take on a new expenditure...it was a simple solution. Great business...great customer care. Great family-owned business -- I will definitely call them for future repairs. Scheduling was easy and straight-forward. They actually provided an up-front estimate based on my description of the problem (they were the only business that replied to my request-for-quote submitted via Yelp). To save time and money, they ordered the part based on my description (which included a diagnostic code). Tech arrived promptly, worked quickly, answered all of my questions and provided additional tips and information about the product. The repair man that came out to fix my fridge looked at my fridge and told me that the control board was bad. He did not perform any test and said it would cost me $325.00 to replace the board. I was told he could come back the next day with the part. After he left I defrosted the ice that was blocking the air flow. I latter found that the problem was the door seal and not the control board. read more

Yeah, they're that good. I took a chance cause they only had one review on this Santa Clarita Yelp page. [turns out they have 58 reviews on a Sherman Oaks Yelp page, but Yelp made them get a second account for Santa Clarita]. Appointment set for next day, very good pricing, thorough repair on my GE Refrigerator--and also fixed the front door beverage dispenser at significantly reduced rate because they 'honestly' trouble-shot the issue and found that a short in the wires was what caused the problem, therefore did not need a new circuit board. (so repair cost like $50 rather than $200). Q: can my loyalty be bought? A: with a repairman who gives great service, you betcha! They're in my book now, and when my ASKO dishwasher next breaks down...cause it does regularly...I will call Lerman. read more

I called Lerman Appliance because I had a problem with my subzero refrigerator. When I explained the problem to them, they understood that it is an urgent matter, it is very difficult to be without a refrigerator and they made an extra effort to have somebody look at it and help me with my issue as soon as possible. Ten minutes after our conversation, they called me and told that they can have a technician to be there tomorrow morning. The very next morning the technician, Ilya was on time. I was surprised how knowledgeable he was, he knew what he was doing. He took the fridge apart, determined the the problem was a condenser motor and put it back together in no time.Two days later, he came back with the part and again, had it taken apart and put it back together in no time. The service provided was fast, clean, inexpensive and absolutely professional. I think it is rare to have all these qualities in one company. I hope nothing else breaks in my house again, but if something happens again, I am truly lucky to know this company and highly recomend them. read more
