The food is the best ever! We have never had better tortellini in all our lives. But most impressive is the staff. We arrived before opening but the owner took us in anyway and let us relax for awhile until they opened (and they opened a half hour early for us). The chef gave us some complimentary aperitifs and chips while we waited. They also gave us each a little post card with a history/story of the village. It was a fun take home gift. When they did open, they took us back to the dinning room and provided us the best service ever! Our waiter suggested we try the "misto" which was three types of tortellini. What a great suggestion. We absolutely loved every one of them. The bruschetta was also outstanding. When we departed, the waiter and owner greeted us personally and thanked us. There were supposed to open at 12:30pm for lunch, so we queued up since it was only 12:20. They didn't open until 12:40, but it was worth the wait (and we got an amazing riverside table to boot)! We got both the tortellini brodo dish and the one with sage butter. Both were amazing. Pro tip: if you have any broth left, drop some of the buttered ones in there and you get double yumminess!! Besides the view, our server was nice and spoke English. Inside the restaurant was a pretty interesting antique decor. It wasn't a cheap lunch, but one pays for the view ;) We got a half bottle of local wine, salami plate, 2 tortellini dishes, and 2 cappuccinos for 60 Euros.

I tried their combo of three different Tortellini and they were all very delicious. My favorite was their original tortellini. It was so fresh and flavorful. The place is huge with inside/backyard seating. Outside they have really cool kitchen decors. The service was top notch. I would definitely be back!

Finally, we found Tortellinandi, which was oddly empty - it might have been because the vibe was a little odd (but after so many other rejections we didn't care). They have a Tortellini Tasting menu for 19 Euro, which seemed appetizing, but we had our minds set on having brodo to warm us up. So we got an order of that along with Tortellini with Butter and Sage. Both were good! And the accompanying bread was tasty (and was even better sopping with butter and brodo)! However, we preferred the brodo we had the previous day at Antica Locanda Mincio (see my review), but my boyfriend preferred the Tortellini in Butter dish here. The wait staff was attentive. My biggest issue with this venue was that they played a popular radio station, so we had to listen to ads over and over again.
