This firm was engaged by our party wall neighbours a few years ago to replace the old, cracked, leaking glass roof of their rear porch, which is adjoining ours.
Leo failed to replace the protective strip of lead that should have covered the gap between our nextdoor neighbours' glass roof and that of our adjoining porch, with the result that rain water has leaked into our porch and rotted the timber along that section, causing considerable damage to what is legally a party wall.
As this is a civil case, and we, as a retired couple living on a basic state pension, really cannot afford to take our party wall neighbours to County Court, suing them for damages, we now face a HUGE repair bill. Our party wall neighbours will also need to be involved in this building work, unfortunately.
DO NOT engage this man! He does appallingly shoddy, amateurish, botched work. He used three large windows to "create" our party wall neighbours' rear porch roof and it looks utterly amateurish and ugly. read more
