They contacted me when I was looking for someone to make a driveway. Received a quote, a little high I thought but didn't know. A contract was sent and signed. His "good workers" came to do the prep work for the cement pour and asked for money to buy "parts" we refused and lo and behold, they came up with the "parts". Was contacted by Leon after the fact and was told not to give them money. Not a good communication between the "boss" and his "good workers" (his words, not mine) because they added a few extra feet on the driveway pad. Owner should have compensated for his guys mistake or made them redo the frame work. It was their mistake. No apology in requesting that we pay for this mistake. In my opinion Leon should have at least halved the cost with us. Doesn't matter how much or little the few extra yards of concrete cost. I should have gone with my instinct to run when he said "Best man for a job is one that has workman's comp" He had smashed his fingers doing something on another job and was proud he didn't charge them for his hospital/Dr. bills? My suggestion besides looking for another "handyman", none. read more
