I as the cash buyer was issued a "Purchase Questionnaire" Requiring that I as the buyer pay a "settlement Fee of $295.00 after doing some research and suggesting that I would reach out to the seller and move the closing to another Title agency the fee was waived. I have been ready to build on this property for 2 months now and have had several issues related to the Title that were obviously overlooked by the Title examiner. I paid cash for this property and did not get a survey because I assumed I would be covered with any issues as I had or thought I had a Title Insurance Policy? I orighinally reached out to Brandon Yoder on February 10th regarding the issues and was provided with a document that would "Resolve my issues" I resubmitted with the the document provided by Brandon and was denied again. I reached out to Brandon Yoder again on March 28th and he said he would take a look as soon as he could. I hadn't heard anything so I called Brandon yesterday to follow up Brandon said he was way to busy and did not have time to look into my request. I get an email today stating that there is nothing that the title agency can do and that I would have to pay an Attorney to resolve my Title issues. I called Wilkinson title agency who initially informed me about the bogus $295 Settlement Fee charged by Bonita Title and they have agreed to resolve my Title issues In House 11595 KELLY RD STE 217 Fort Myers Florida (239) 454-1600. Do not deal with this company they are either to busy or incompetent.
