Always looks like it's overgrown like a hoarded garden center , the front of the building and parking lot looks old out dated Cnt see the entrance or the door the parking lot is always full of carts full of stuff not much parking , the back is always so full and not organized it's hard to push carts through it's like they dnt care what the place looks like it's all about how much inventory they can hoard in there! Plants get over looked a lot . They never have sales never have a half off area , always smells like weed inside back are and it is in desperate need of a makeover . In October, at the Timonium Home Crafts Show, I bought a citrus tree from Leon's and was ASSURED it could be used as a house plant. I even called back a few days later to double check because the label only discusses planting it outside. Again, I was assured it was fine as a house plant. About 4-5 weeks ago, the leaves starting falling off. At first, it was a few here and there and I didn't think anything of it. Then, the leaves starting dropping at an alarming rate. When I called about my concern, I was advised to give it more water, add fertilizer and move it closer to a light source if I could. I did all three and for 2-3 days the leaf dropping slowed down. Last week, it started again and I was told to pick off the fruit. In the last two days, the leaves started to turn yellow, some mottled, some dried up, but most still looked green and healthy. Today, I shook the tree while I was adjusting a branch and it ended up with more leaves on the floor then left on the tree! When I called Leon's, the person I spoke to continued to insist this is an indoor plant. But, he added that it sounded like the plant was in shock, which can completely kill a plant. When I asked how could it be in shock, since I've had it since October, he told me that he doesn't work with indoor plants, but all he can tell me is that they sold me a healthy plant and "we're not Lowe's." So, beware of anything you buy from this nursery. In fact, DO NOT buy from Leon's, sounds like you should go to Lowe's! read more
