A large part of my success today comes from what I learned at CCCS--to rise to the top, be accountable for myself and others, and to be generous and open. It is with great honor that I return to CCCS to give back for all it gave me growing up: a home, a safe space to be myself authentically, and a school dedicated to see me succeed. The assistant principal did not return phone calls regarding concerns I have about my child and the school. There is poor communication at the district. I emailed my child's program specialist for two months to get answers about an IEP. She wasn't following up I had to keep asking for an update. They don't have the proper resources for speech therapy. IUSD needs to update their resources for speech many things have changed and the district has NO CLUE! A One star rating is one star too many!
