What we were treated to was a dining experience that exceeded almost all other dining experiences we have had in New Zealand. The atmosphere, food and service was sublime to a point of astonishment. From the warm fire, to the wonderful horses who attended to us, we were left in a state of pure bliss after the last morsel was savored and the plates were cleared away. In the three years I have lived in New Zealand there hasn't been a single fine dining establishment in Auckland that has left me feeling as happy and satisfied as this little restaurant has. They had plenty of outdoor seating, picnic tables and the like. They had a nice little selection of pastries, and we had both the donuts and the chocolate croissant. Both were really good. What really made my morning was the flat white with vanilla. It wasn't the best I'd ever had, but it was plenty good enough and much better than I was expecting from a little food truck. If we are ever back in the area again, I'd be happy to return.
