BLESS THE LEMON TREE MARKETPLACE FOR-- 1. Having a coffee counter. 2. Being open when they say they are. 3. Being open on a Sunday. 4. Having delicious donuts. 5. And cute stuff to browse. My husband and I were on a hunt for coffee. We had been to three establishments and struck out at all of them (felt weird, closed, and closed) and I was delirious with caffeine withdrawal when we came upon Lemon Tree. I saw a woman walking down the street carrying a coffee cup and I almost screamed "WHERE DID YOU GET THAT?" from our car, but then I saw the storefront--Lemon Tree Marketplace. And I remembered from their Yelp reviews that they had coffee. We came to a screeching halt and went inside. First, yes, the coffee. They stuff here is good! I wasn't sure when I'd get another chance so I got both a cold brew and a vanilla latte. Both were excellent. The cold brew was a vanilla sweet cream variety and that cold foam/sweet cream on top was so good (think thick whipped cream meets a marshmallow). We also got a half dozen donuts and they were so great! Really enjoyed the krullers and the raspberry filled one was delicious and unique! The shop itself is also really cute. I got some stickers from one of my favorite artists (the mincing mockingbird) and enjoyed perusing their housewares, gifts, jewelry, ceramics, kitchen goodies and more. Just delightful. They also have really nice seating outside both on the side of the building and a little outdoor patio in the back that was just perfect on a sunny September afternoon. read more

Amy is an absolute delight! Her store is so cute and has so much to offer. There really is a little bit of everything! Puzzles, home goods, books, apparel, and coffee! She went out of her way to give us a great experience. She was supposed to be closed, yet opened just for us, spending extra time for us to shop and drink coffee. I can't wait to come back. This is a little boutique in coffee shop here in town. There's a plethora of small gifts for every little occasion. They do offer donuts, but they're from another vendor. So many rooms and an entire second floor of resale and other new items. Staff are friendly. No public restroom for guest use. :( Not a lot of options here on M-25. read more

Stopped here after an afternoon on the beach for a quick bite to eat and fell in love. This is a quaint little place that is part gift shop, part boutique, part bakery and deli, and has delicious smoothies! Three of us got three different flavors and they were all so tasty. The raspberry, lemon and pineapple coconut flavored smoothies were so refreshing. My deli sandwich on a croissant hit the spot and the bagels are reportedly great as well. I left w a full, happy belly, a few souvenirs and a great piece of jewelry. What a find! Definitely recommend :) read more

Love this store/coffee shop. Found original house warming gifts a friend and her husband who just bought big Motorhome to enjoy their retirement. Got a log book that you keep track of mileage, weather etc. Also got a homemade welcome mat. Always enjoy the coffee and sweet treat for myself. They have lovely antiques upstairs. While Lemontree had not astonished me with the outside, the inside was amazing. Cute vintage decor, items for purchase and made in Michigan merchandise is all over the store. The lower level features smaller items and houses the cafe, while the upstairs houses vintage furniture and decorations, as well as a nice outdoor patio to sip and eat on. There's not much of a view but it's relaxing as it's not too close to the streets. The drinks are pretty good and there's lots of good, standard cafe foods to keep you satiated. Overall it's very clean, cute and delightful. Highly suggested. read more
