They have a nice variety of succulents (and cacti) both in individual cuttings/chicks with prices as low as $2-3 to nicely arranged potted succulents (for gifting etc). It was really important for me that they had individually potted succulents because I was DIYing my own succulent pots/terrariums. The best part was that this was the only place that didn't have any signs of pests of disease on their succulents. No spider mites webbing, no gnat flies. The sempervivums I brought home are still pest and disease free a month later. And trust me, I learned the hard way. I'm still paying for it.. damn mites/flies!!! And they actually have little genus/species tags for each of their plants, I love that, a lot of other places I went to didn't bother identifying their succulents. The people were really nice on the phone, didn't sound rushed or anything. in person, they were just as sweet, I could tell they liked what they were doing and had fun talking about what they knew about particular plants. All the other reviewers are spot on with their assessment of service. It's super friendly, the staff is knowledgeable, and always willing to carry your purchase to the car if need be. I've also had good success with Polillio's label sun and shade grass seed and the neighborhood birds love the bird seeds. Last year I bought 3 different types of tomato plants a little later than usual, so they were marked down to bargain price. I had so many tomatoes I thought about making my own Ketchup! Forget about Lowes and Home Depot this is where to go to get "Proven Winners".

Also, it is bizarre that someone would walk around in this consignment shop with a stroller anyway. Lady, get a babysitter. Also, get a thicker skin. If people ask about your baby, don't take offense. Looks like other complained about not being greeted when they walked though the door. Were they expecting trumpets and confetti? My husband and I recently moved into a new home and ordered two bedframes from Bob's, one full and one king. On the initial date of delivery, the full frame was built with no issues, but we were informed that there was a broken piece with the king frame, and that they would have to undo it and take it away. The gentleman who delivered it was incredibly nice and got me on the phone with customer service. I spoke with a woman who informed me the delivery would be replaced a few days later. When they arrived a few days later, they came with only parts for the frame, and not the entire replacement frame. This time, they left the miscellaneous pieces of frame in our bedroom, taking up space, and we had to get on the phone with customer service AGAIN. This time we spoke to two different people (neither of whom seemed to understand what we were talking about or who understood our situation). And once again, they assured us that the next delivery (the 3rd attempt) would be correct and the entire frame would be delivered. When the third delivery was attempted, they (shocker) only came with just the pieces again and not the entire frame, but thankfully this group of delivery men were kind enough to move the leftover pieces of frame from our bedroom to our garage so they weren't in the way. My husband talked to customer service on the phone and very clearly explained the situation, and we were once again informed that the now FOURTH delivery attempt would be correct. This morning, which was supposed to be the final (correct) delivery, my husband received a phone call stating that they, once again, had the wrong order and only had parts for the frame, not the entire frame itself. After multiple other confusing & frustrating calls to customer service agents (who very clearly follow a script and have trouble straying from it), and trying to explain to them that we did NOT want a replacement or exchange at this point and just wanted a refund, we finally got a satisfactory response. We definitely not be purchasing any more furniture from Bob's and will be advising our friends & family against it as well. Save yourself the trouble and go to a different furniture store or get something off of Amazon.

Two weeks ago, to my utter despair, the little bugger shocked me; intervention was required. Enter Appleton Antique Lighting. It's a bit small, and Route 9 is a bit crazy, so keep your eyes peeled. The gent going through bills off to the side was a bit brusque, but the lady at the register was very sweet. They quoted an *extremely* reasonable price for the fix. They said it might take two weeks, but they got it done in one. And my lamp is back to its healthy, non-shocking ways. Go there. And bring your poor, your tired, your huddled lamps, yearning to be fixed.

They are incredibly nice there, and while they said it would take a few days to fix, it turned out they were able to sneak it in between larger projects and the lamp got repaired by the next day. Not bad! Basically, I would say that they were very knowledgeable, extremely welcoming and affable people with excellent customer service, and as far as I can tell, they charged a reasonable price. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again as they certainly have earned a repeat customer (just hoping that I won't have any more broken lamps, haha).

They delivered the loam/compost mix right away and I was very pleased with the dirt. Tons of worms for my veggie garden. If you are paying for dirt make sure it is a good quality. Also they have a great selection of plants and trees along with very friendly staff that are always willing to hlep.
