However, they also had an almost new GE gas range top. Perfect for doing my beer brewing. And the price was 1/3 what I saw for clearance at the big box stores. I particularly liked that they didn't force a sale on me and in fact, they gave me the name of a nearby business that could just do a glass replacement for a chipped window. He's been out 3 times, initially to one house to take a look and give some advice and potential estimate. On another day, he went to another home and gave a quote for All windows replaced - i placed the order -- currently (July 2022), windows are taking around 8-10 weeks to come in! A third time, i called him back o the first house to replace an exterior door. They're returning in the next few days to finish the trim and molding. I would recommend this company to anyone, at the very least, to have an additional quote. The estimate for the windows turned out to be higher than the original amount. He said the aluminum wrap wasn't included -- not sure if the windows were worse than expected, but the job looks like it'll turn out higher than expected. The owner is a veteran and professional. For those of you that don't know the VA is very thorough on what they approve because they want a buyer to have a safe and sound home. Well, we hired Nick to perform our inspection before the VA came to look at the home. He showed up on time (not to mention the appointment was short notice for him) and he spent hours inspecting our home. Afterwards we received a 40+ page report of everything he thought was of concern with the home. We based our negotiations off of his report and got fixed what we thought the VA we be concerned about. Our VA appraisal/inspection came back with absolutely nothing wrong (not heard of according to our lender).
