The home sold in less than 30 days for about $25k more than their recommended listing price. I am accustomed to a 3% listing commission and 3% selling commission. Stephen Cooley wanted 3.5% and 2.5% to the selling broker. I told him that this did not work for me, and in my opinion, the selling broker does the majority of the work in the transaction. Their communication was awful during the process. The fact that the home sold so quickly had nothing to do with Stephen Cooley Real Estate. There are much better companies in Ft Mill, Rock Hill and Charlotte. All that can say is that I will never use this company again.

In my humble opinion they didn't deserve it. From my experience as a Buyer of a home they represented this wasn't a good experience. Communication is key and this firm is lacking in basic skills. My agent did not have her calls returned and we felt in the dark the entire time. With this guy's face plastered all over the place you would think he'd follow up with his team to make sure they provided good service. Seems more like a "mill" than a company looking out for their clients.

After speaking to Alicia on the phone for the 1st time I knew she would be a good fit for me and she turned out to be exactly what I was looking for. I knew where I wanted to live (Hoboken), but I was unsure of what exactly I wanted in my first home. Alicia is a resident of Hoboken herself which proved to be extremely helpful on my search. Once my search began and I saw several places, I got a better feel of what exactly my "must haves" were and what I could afford. Throughout this process Alicia was helpful, flexible, and accommodating in changing my search preferences. Being this was my first time being a home buyer I was anxious about the process. However, Alicia alleviated my stress and anxieties by making herself available 24/7 to discuss any questions or problems that I was having. She was constantly going above and beyond her duties. She also provided excellent recommendations on acquiring the rest of my team (lender, real estate lawyer, inspection agent). Together we formed a "super team" and they were crucial assets on my home buying journey. I am happy to say that because of Alicia and her relentless effort, I became a happy 1st time home buyer within a few months! I highly recommend having Alicia on your team if you are on the hunt for a new house. You can tell right from the beginning that she is a caring, diligent, intelligent, and professional agent who is readily available and genuinely invested in finding your dream home.

We were dealing with a tight timeline and a difficult seller in a seriously limited market, and he navigated us through the buying process with absolute prowess. BTW there is not a lot you could ask that she would not know the answer to. When hiccups arise with sellers or buyers she finds a solution without causing delays. April was a champ and stuck it out with us all day!!! Buying a home can be overwhelming especially when you keep getting out bid, but April made this as smooth as possible. I would not want to buy or sell a home with any other agent. If you are looking to buy or sell a home give April a call. You will be so happy that you did. Most people would describe house hunting as overwhelming, but when you have an agent like Edwin it makes it a million times better. Edwin went over and beyond what I would expect from an agent and was completely honest with me through the entire process and spent countless hours helping me find the perfect place. You could really tell he cared about my wants/needs and not about making money on the sale! Six years after living in my house, my employer decided to move me out of the state and Edwin came back and made my house sale happen in literally a couple of hours. Edwin acting as a selling agent was just as honest and helpful as when he was my buying agent. I'm not sure there are many other agents in Charlotte that will dedicate as much time and passion into helping you through your real estate needs as Edwin or anyone at 5 points will!! TLDR - Edwin and 5 Points Realty is literally the best real estate agent; I will probably fly him to the next place I live to help be buy or sell.
