I was a little scared lol. The follow-up appt was scheduled within the month, and Dr Henrich's crew made me feel super comfortable with the upcoming process, and alleviated the anxiety I was feeling. We are from out of state but my daughter is attending school in Kansas. She was referred to this…read moreclinic to have her wisdom teeth extracted. The director from the school made an appointment and informed me that the clinic wanted the copay at the time of service. I contacted the clinic and they couldn't tell me what the copay was! My daughter and the director had plans for a 6 hour round trip the next day that I had to cancel. A day later I was informed of the copay and approved. The next day the clinic called to tell me that since my daughter is a minor (17) I MUST be present to sign the authorization papers for the doctor to proceed. I tried to explain that I am 5 states away and disabled but it fell on deaf ears. I suggested electronic authorization that I've done before and that wasn't acceptable either. We're going elsewhere, I guess our money isn't good enough here.

So yesterday my 3 year old had to have a tooth removed from this place (before I had to pay $250…read moredown) my 3 year old was forced to hold still while they attempted to Gas her with the laughing gas which didn't work on her so then Dr Martin and his staff proceeded to man handle my daughter to stick a four inch needle in her gums twice. She came out with hickey marks on her face, red marks all over her body on every single part of her body including bruising on her face and arms. I am filing a complaint Monday and I hope hat NOBODY every takes a child to this place. It was the most horrible thing I've ever seen especially for my child to go through. I also told this man to stop numerous times but that didn't matter. I had to physically put my hands on his hands to take them off of holding my daughters face down by her temples. Please don't ever go to this guy if you don't want your child to be ruined by the doctor or dentist.

Dr. Trimmell is always so friendly and explains everything to me. I personally have never had braces and the first time going here I was intimidated because I didnt know who I was dealing with. I didnt know wether they would try to convince me that my child needed braces simply because they wanted my money. All of those fears were put at ease when Dr. Trimmell explained the treatment my daughter needed. I understood everything he said and even asked more questions if I had concerns. He didnt make me feel stupid for asking either. He is professional and very nice. My daughter loves her appointments, she never puts up a fight. Plus everytime she goes she gets to pick out new color bands. I highly recommend Dr. Trimmell for any of your orthodontic needs. We're not familiar with Dr. Anders so I cant say anything about him. Both seem like nice guys.

There was no compassion on his part. It was very discouraging for me and my mother. My mom just wants the best for me. She wants me to be able to have a good orthodontist. I just left after truly the worst dental experience of my life. In fairness, I had a root canal…read moreearlier this year, which they did a wonderful job with and was why I decided to become a regular patient... but boy that was a mistake. I had a 10:00 appointment, which I got to 15 minutes early. It was after 10:30 before I asked the woman at the desk what kind of delay the doctors had. Again, I was assuming they were just busy not that I had been completely forgotten about. The woman at the desk assured me that they would be with me right away, and I was given a gift card to apologize. So again, I'm cool at this point. I had the day free, it's not a big deal. I'm just there for a cleaning and to go about my day. Absolutely no cleaning ever happened. The first woman came in and prodded my gums looking for pockets. I'd never had this before, it wasn't explained how or why this is now part of a yearly dental experience, and it was just assumed I was going to do the expected treatment plan without presenting options or costs. Then the sorry excuse for a dentist comes in, who does not have any beside manner at all. He talks to the attendant, who truly was the only positive part of this entire experience and I am very sorry she has to work with people like this, he makes assumptions about my teeth with his hands in my mouth shouts off numbers, talks to her about her husband, never tries to acknowledge that I am anything more than a cardboard box on the chair, and didn't even give me his name or else it would be in this review. He states I have two cavities, I have never had a single cavity in my life and walks off. No conversation, no humanity, and absolutely no cleaning which is what I went in for in the first place. I am not a number, I am a human being, and I deserve to be talked to as if I am not some kind of checklist. If I get a bill from today, I am absolutely going to contest it. Worst dental experience in my life, outside of that poor tech who was clearly a loving a lovely woman. I will not be back, and I'd encourage you to avoid if you want to be treated well.
