We, his siblings, believe that Complete Care is the best possible place for him. (in the process of caring for a grandmother, 2 aunts, mother, father, and brother, we've used MANY of the assisted living and skilled nursing facilities in Lehigh and Schuylkill County.) The entire staff, whether nursing, Activities, aides, PT, OT, SW, speech, or food services, has been consistently attentive, responsive, and caring. We are managing our brother's care long-distance and it gives us tremendous peace of mind to know that he is in good hands at Complete Care where they treat him like family. They deserve 5 stars! read more

I am an entertainer exclusively for healthcare facilities for over 25 years. Playing music on a synthesizer and encouraging the residents to sing a long brings back memories of their younger days with family and friends. Something that they dont get from the facility in which they have come to call home. My misfortune with Complete Care at Spring Creek was trying to get paid, which took over 7 months. I had to resend invoices numerous times and the director had passed me off to the AP person. I recently spoke to the director about coming back to perform for the residents, which by the way was told how much the residents loved the times that I was there for them. However, I was informed that the Administrator, told the Director, NOT, to have me back. And she herself apologized to me. Judgeing by reading some of the reviews about Complete Care, as well as my experience with them,this is not the place for care for your loved ones. Do your homework and choose wisely before committing your family member to a facility that has a better reputation. read more

Lehigh Center puts up a big show when you come to visit. They are under staffed, they don't serve dinner on time. The place always smells like dirty diapers and some of the staff members are not very kind, and have horrible attitudes! There are staffing carts all over the place. They leave dirty diapers in bags thrown on the floor. The activities are not posted and these poor elderly people have to pay extra to have/use a phone. The nurses come into the dining hall to provide medication to the patients because their dinner takes so long to come. When dinner arrives, there is one cart that has to be shared with each hall way,. This place gets between 820-2000 for each patient. Why must they wait? Prisoners get treated better than our elderly. That's a shame. It's not so great as they propose when you visit. The staff here doesn't have the patients to feed the residents. They keep asking to get fed but they won't help. If your family member is here,. Come sit and watch. read more

If you love someone, do NOT send them there! Find another place, it's absolutely horrible! The place Smells horrific, it's not clean, they are not prepared for a new person coming in, almost gave the wrong meds! Let my mother who was in awful pain scream for over a half hour! Screaming on the top of her lungs! Would not call the doctor in when I asked! I called 911 to get her out of there within 3 hours of arriving!!!!!!!!!!! They should be shut down!!!! read more

I would give this place negative stars if allowed. When my mom was told by the hospital that she needed to go to a nursing home for rehab we wanted her to go another place but her hmbs would not cover that place. So she went to Lehigh center. Never never send anyone there. My mom was there about 1 1/2 days and we were trying to get her out she is on oxygen and has to be transported so we had go figure all that out. While there her oxygen machine wasn't working thank goodness we were there most of the time and my dad was there very late also they had to replace the oxygen machine three times and that took forever then her wound vac didn't work and no one ever came to check and finding someone was impossible. I changed my mom's bed pan. the food was cold when it finally came. The women next to her said she was on a bed pan for 5 hours before someone came my mom didn't want her water pill at night cause she was afraid she would have to go to the bathroom. So that created water building up in her lungs to make a long story short the center had to call the ambulance to send her back to the hospital for care my mom is doing fine right now. So that was sort of a blessing in disguise. No one from my family will ever go near that place read more

DO NOT EVER take a relative to Genesis Lehigh Center for rehab. My dad was released from the hospital last evening. My brother and I transported him via car to the rehab. I went in to let them know he was here and the receptionist says "Ok he is in room 101A." "Um Ma'am I have never been here where is that and shouldn't someone come with me? Also he needs a wheel chair to get inside/to his room". Receptionist ignores those questions and tells me we have a family plan of care meeting on Wed at 2pm and we will need to be there. "Uh ok, but I still need a wheel chair and someone to help." Receptionist looking down at her papers on her desk.. "Room is through those doors on the right". SO at that point I think whatever we will just get him in ourselves. My brother and I get him out of the car, into the room and he sits on the bed. We wait and we wait and we wait for an HOUR and not one person comes in. When we walked into the hall initially we noticed 6 or so call lights on outside the doors. An hour later they were still on. By now we were getting really pissed off and my dad looks at us and says take me home so we did. Loaded him back into the car and brought him home. He is doing incredibly well. Up walking around on his own (we are right with him), and doing everything plus more than we could hope for. As we were leaving we did finally have someone come to the door and try to get us to stay/"apologize". However that is not the standard of care we want for our family member. read more
