Yesterday Blue Raider Contracting put new roofing shingles from Owens Corning on our house and…read moregarage. The roofing crew arrived around 7am and departed about 6:30pm. The quality of work was a great value to our home. A few points for future homeowners using this excellent roofing company: 1) Never pay with a credit card due to third party merchant fees of 3% (@$600 for me) because once you select credit card payment, it's done! Always pay by ACH or check! and 2) Ask the roofing crew not to park their waste shingles dump truck in front of your garage to throw off roof. All your doors and ways to leave will be blocked all day. Park your car(s) outside your driveway. Finally (3) the roofing crew does clean up all day long, if it's windy those shingles plastic bags will be blown all over the neighborhood.

However, due to recent storm damage, we had insurance assess the roof and discovered an issue with a section of the roof. We wanted to talk to them about our options. Pros ----- *…read moreResponsive to Communication (emails, texts, phone calls) * Adheres to schedules and deadlines. (Owner and employees) Cons ----- No itemized invoice. (Can make dealing with insurance difficult. Owner itemized items upon request. In 2013 we were in need of a new roof. We live in Hendersonville and had trouble finding someone…read moreto respond to our request at that time. We located Premier Roofing on the internet and it only took one call to get them out to the house. We wanted a premium roof and they put together a proposal for a GAF Timberline HD Architectual shingles roof system requiring 6 nails per shingle and premium GAF underlayment, edge trim, and ridge seal. The shingles are warranted to stay in place up to 130 mph. Chip and his team were easy to work with and did exactly what they promised to do, and more. Fast forward to December of 2023 when we experienced our first direct hit of a tornado in our 35 years of living here. Fortunately, the tornado lifted over the house as it passed, sparing us it's full force. We lost two 1/2 pieces of shingles that tore loose, leaving the other halves with nails on the roof. When I discovered one of the shingles and noticed where it came from, I called Chip and he sent Manny out to do a temperary waterproofing. The weather was sub-freezing and everybody had lost lots of their roofs. After the cold weather passed, Chip sent Manny out again and replaced the damaged shingles. He didn't charge us. This is a great roofing Company and I am happy to pass our experience on so others can benefit from Premier Roofing's excellent service.
