You're stuck in a chair with wet hair and a dopey lost expression - trying to work out why someone has dressed you up like a nylon Teepee with a soggy roof. (BTW - does anyone else immediately get an itchy nose in those things?) Why the storefront window? Its not like anyone is gonna see me and think "Oh I need a haircut and look - there's a barber!" Especially not with my head. Sam's place is inaccessible to anyone not buying a pair of jeans at the back corner of DJs level 1 Mens department. I can get a decent cut from Sam and nobody will even know. It can take two days before someone at home twigs. Bit expensive but I don't want to train another barber, so $45 a pop it is. The privacy is worth it.

I closed my eyes and he yanked my head all over the place... I'm surprised I don't have whiplash! To hit it off he knocked the end of the hair dryer into my head... leaving a bump.He was not apologetic and said " You been working all night? Sleeping in the chair" " You should go home and sleep". I said you need to be a bit more careful you are very rough and you knocked me in the head with the hair dryer. He said" Keep your head up straight next time!" Well I won't be going there again!! There were children also misbehaving and the father didn't say much... I was waiting for the long mirror to smash on the floor. What a terrible experience and he didn't do my eyebrows or the top of my ears. Older guys need special attention too. We aren't all young and gorgeous!

Rock up, get told my barber shouldn't be too much longer…read more I notice one of the guys that worked there just came in and sat on the seat, the guy I booked with proceeded to cut the colleagues hair. I sat there till 330pm (now 40 mins in) and the owner simply told me " it shouldn't be too much longer" continued to wait until 4.15pm (over 1 hour ) I left without even getting a haircut. The owner didn't even seem to give a F! This place is a joke, the owner puts barely any money back into the place, the couch is ripped and old, Bunch of young staff with no real understanding of the barber game, they play music so loud that you can't even think or have a conversation with anyone. I wouldn't bother going here unless you don't mind waiting 1 hour +, I mean it defeats the purpose of appointments if you don't stick to them. Wake up legends, your stores in the states would be guttered to hear your dragging their name through the mud.
