I recently moved two hours away and Ms. Erika and Sterne have both been so helpful with my move. On top of the craziness that comes to adjusting to a new city, Sterne helped me get a tow truck out to my workplace because of a dead battery. He assisted me in reaching someone that could come our to help me as soon as possible. Next thing you know, 10 minutes later the tow truck arrived and he jumped my car and also the company that he recommended was amazing because he even gave me great advice and a place to get a new battery. I have been a long term long time customer and now more than ever do I feel like I'm going to be 100% loyal to that company no matter where it is that I move.

State Farm Sioux City Iowa Morningside Avenue office. Let me…read morestart by saying I never write reviews, however I couldn't bite my tongue on this one. We have had State Farm as our car insurance for the past 5 years. Every year they have raised our rates even though we have never had an accident, ticket or filed any claims. When they sent us our renewal policy this last time once again it went up this time by almost 20% for what they say is due to catastrophic events from last year was their reason. So we get to pay for everyone else around here getting new roofs from the hail storm from a year ago even though we got nothing. Instead of raising the rates of the people that make claims they raise the rates of the little people who don't. How is this fair? Its not its insurance company's way of milking more money out of people. The problem is, I cancelled this insurance and went to another company 4 days before my policy was to renew. My payment was always automatically withdrawing from my bank on the 7th of every month. The 7th came and went and no payment was taken so I figured that was the end of it until I checked my account on the 11th and seen that they took their payment n the 10th. My wife called up there only to get an attitude by rude people saying that we never cancelled and they are NOT returning our money. They called my wife a liar and said "oh it just slipped your mind to call us back". I got on the phone and told them you guys record all the calls just go back and listen to the call and you will hear my wife saying "we are sick of the rates going up for no reason so just cancel our policy because we are going somewhere else for insurance". Some guy gets on the phone with still more attitude pretty much calling me a liar now. Saying you never cancelled your policy. Well we did! I wasn't getting anywhere over the phone so I go up to the office and tell the lady at the desk "where is this guy I was talking to on the phone and calling my wife and I liars". He comes out and the first words out of his mouth are "I am calling the police because you are being aggressive". WOW really why because I want the money you took from me without cause. Long story short it is now 8 days later and still no money back in my account after he told my that day he returned it. I gave them 7 days to do right but I guess they are just crooks. Needless to say I will never go back to State Farm and if I was anyone looking for insurance I definitely would go somewhere other than the office on Morningside Avenue unless you like getting ripped off every time your policy renews or if they ever take money that they shouldn't don't expect to get it back I guess. Oh yeah since this I have talked to numerous other people that have had the same issue with these clowns. State Farm is like a terrible neighbor that will take your money and never return it. They sure are not a good neighbor like they say. In closing I called up there about 7 months ago to check on business insurance for our business and the lady answering the phone told us that she would have whoever was in charge of that call us back shortly if not in the morning. Well 7 months later and still haven't heard a word about that but apparently that is OK if they don't call back. THEIR JUST CROOKS!!!
