I had issues with my kitchen sink backed up - I tried to remediate it myself but the clog was too bad for me to do without help. I called Legacy Plumbing and they got someone out to me the next day. Luis was my technician and was professional and extremely friendly. He not only fixed the clog but also was able to replace some parts to my sink which were old and not working well. The price was very reasonable for the work and the issue was fixed with efficiency and care. I had a doctor appointment and Luis made sure he was able to finish in the time I needed and was very kind in regards to my needs as a customer. If you're lucky to live long enough, and you live in the same home for several years, you'll encounter lots of problems with fixtures that you might take for granted. Generally, I'm a do-it-yourselfer and don't rely on someone else to repair stuff unless it's major, like jacking the foundation. I've replaced the water shutoff valve to my house twice. Not the one at the water meter (which belongs to the city), but the one in the ground just outside our front door. And, yes, they do wear out. Deposits build up on the inside and rust takes it's toll on parts on the outside. One of the fittings started leaking just a little, possibly due to the Texas snowmageddon a few months ago. Doesn't take long for a drip to turn into a trickle, so the time came for a fix. Digging in our sticky clay soil is a real chore and I've reached that point where I'll let someone else take over this task. After plenty of research, we decided that Legacy Plumbing was our best choice for the job. Alex and Tyler showed up on time and ready to get their hands dirty. After confirming the quote that we were given over the phone, they were obviously ready to get started. We were impressed at how friendly and thoughtful they were, explaining what they planned to do and answering our questions. Then, they dug up and replaced the valve and back filled it in about an hour. They left the area so clean that you wouldn't know that they've been here. I've got a good friend who's a plumber and he isn't as nice to me as Alex and Tyler! I mentioned that rust causes valve failures. My new one is a 1" stainless ball valve. Even the handle is stainless, so no rust problem. Bottom line: the bill was very reasonable, the work was professional and we're very satisfied. read more

Wayne Pierce and Daniel Green did an excellent job of unstopping my shower drain on August 5, 2024. Unlike many contractors Wayne did an excellent of keeping me informed about what he was doing and why such as telling me to flush the toliet some addifional times. He also was sympathetic to my wife and I being older and our medical conditions. Wayne also told me I could save money by getting the Legacy Plumbing Gold Plan annual membership which I did. They also were very timely and efficient. In summary I would heartily recommend these plumbers and this plumbing company for all their plumbing needs! read more

Legacy Plumbing, more specifically Joey Wong-Vermillion solved our issue that three other Plumbing contractors couldn't. We had a very smelly drain in our shower. We tried everything to clean it. It seemed every 45 to 60 days it would reappear and this has gone on for a couple of years. We're thinking of remodeling the bath and we wanted this problem fixed before we put money into a remodel. Frustrated, I called a total of 4 different plumbers as I wanted to ensure someone could fix this. Plumber #1 simply told me to add more bleach to the drain when I cleaned it. Plumber #2 wanted to "power wash" the drain for $140. Plumber #3 wanted to power wash the drain for $860 (yes $860). Plumber #4 was Legacy Plumbing. Joey and his assistant JaMichael came out and carefully listened to our situation. Joey immediately told us he didn't think it was our drain, rather the weep holes in the shower door frame. Sure enough, he opened up the clogged weep holes (that we didn't even know existed) and cleaned out the stenchy water that was trapped in the shower door frame. It was unbelievable! Everything smells a whole lot better, and it was less than $200. I'm so glad I called Legacy Plumbing, and so thankful that Joey understood and resolved our issue. Wrote my first review of this company back in '20 and have to say that they continue to exceed expectations. From Meagan and her teammates in the office to Rockstar Plumber Jeremy you truly cannot go better with your plumbing needs. For us it was a two day trip as we wanted Jeremy & Manny to evaluate two older toilets, change a shower filter, and snake a bathroom drain. Making the decision to replace both toilets, Jeremy (working alone) returned a few days later to remove the old toilets and replace them with two new ones we chose to purchase directly from Legacy. I had a massive leak- standing water in my yard. I called Legacy and they were able to schedule me for the same day! Johnny actually arrived early. My problem/leak was more complicated than we originally thought, but they were up-front with pricing and options and kept me up to date on all the developments. I really appreciated the transparency. Since the job was bigger than we thought- leak was in the foundation instead of at the faucet- Legacy sent Brandon to help Johnny. They were both so friendly and professional. THE BEST PLUMBERS IN THE KNOWN UNIVERSE. I called with a problem that seemed difficult for other companies, impossible for some, and the great company known as Legacy Plumbing sent out not only great plumbers but also great men, Kelly and Henry. These guys were incredible. Not only does Kelly take you under his wing and give you the best advice learned in his 30+ year career, he also answered painlessly my millions of questions (yep, I'm that guy, the annoying DIY'er who asks how everything works and how to do everything). They didn't just tolerate me and my questions but welcomed me like family. Honestly, it was such a pleasure hanging out with them that I can't even imagine what off the clock is like. They made work - hard and incredibly tough work - fun and enjoyable (or at least for me the bystander! Haha.) If you're thinking about booking these guys (and of course you are if you're reading this), just do it. If you don't understand something? Just ask. They are passionate about what they do and care a great deal about both YOU as a person and show it through caring for YOUR PLUMBING. There's nobody better than Kelly, and Henry is well on his way as his apprentice. I can't say enough good things about these guys, they were simply incredible, thoughtful, hardworking, and fun, (even hilarious at times), which made something that was super difficult look fun and easy. One way or another, these guys will solve your problems or die trying. The bigger and harder the problem the more "interesting" it is and more of a "fun challenge" for these guys to solve. You want guys like these in your corner when you have issues, that's for sure! Backstory: My gas riser pipe for my spa heater rusted out and developed a leak about 7 years ago. I had difficulty finding a repair back then (just like now), so I gave up. I turned the gas off running to it (fortunately I had a valve for it) and dug down to uncover the part that needed to be replaced and discovered it was a polyethylene line (mine is orange, they changed to yellow in the 80's, but, just like Kelly said, it's basically the same pipe designed to the same specifications). I called several companies which gave mixed responses, but when I called Legacy Plumbing they found a master plumber familiar with gas to discuss it with me further and he immediately understood, and then he sent an experienced veteran like Kelly out who knew exactly what was going on. For these guys it really was no big deal, and within minutes of Kelly being onsite for the estimate he was able to piece together a plan to repair using the existing pipe. This was the solution I preferred anyway, and it worked out as well as it could. His care of people and his years of experience really shine, as he gives you options and listens to your thoughts instead of taking a "one size fits all" approach - he truly is an artist working the many variables of the problem to find and recommend the best solutions for your specific issues. The bottom line is that I trust Legacy Plumbing as a company and if it were an option (I know it isn't :)) I would give Kelly and Henry the keys to the house and turn them loose while at work, that's how much I trust them. Let's be honest though, I could never do that because I'm way too nosy and like to learn too much, and these guys are simply too enjoyable to miss hanging out with. Mike and Jake did great handling our big job in Plano in March, when we decided to replace our cast iron pipes after getting tired of dealing with recurring problems due to leaks and tree roots. Friendly, efficient, and respectful, they made our 3-day stent with them as painless as possible. We are confident that things are all in working order now, and two months later, you can hardly tell they dug up half our yard! This was my second time to use Legacy Plumbing, but my first time ever to leave a review(for any company), so I have to make up for that. Legacy is worth it. I needed a plumber about a year ago to resolve a toilet clogging issue. I called Legacy and a few other plumbers, after doing a lot of research. Legacy was the first one I called. When I talked to Chris at Legacy, he was so helpful and gave me information and price ranges over the phone. It wasn't exact, but at least I know the general range of what I'm dealing with. That alone is enough to calm down a stressed out homeowner! (The other guys wouldn't give me any information at all over the phone until I gave my exact address, which did not sit well with me.) So I called Chris back to set up the work. Logan and another teammate from Legacy came out and fixed my toilet issue. They were so courteous and helpful, explaining everything they were doing. They went above and beyond in their work. The bathroom was clean when they finished up, and they even touched up the paint on the wall behind the toilet when they were done! Legacy earned my faith and trust with that visit. When my hot water heater in the attic started leaking Monday night, I knew exactly who to call. I talked to Chris at Legacy first thing in the morning on Tuesday, and he said that the best they could do on scheduling would be first thing Wednesday to come check it out. Chris also told me that he understood if I wanted to call someone else to get it taken care of sooner. No, I want Legacy to come out and do the work so I will wait. It was so worth it to wait for someone I trust! Joey Wong and Daniel came out, and they were wonderful. They diapered up the leaking old water heater and did NOT get a drop of water anywhere in my attic! (This was vastly different from a pre-Legacy experience that resulted in water damage to sheetrock. How I wish I had known about Legacy a long time ago!) They explained everything they were doing, did not upsell anything. They left the attic cleaner than when they went up there. Again, they went above and beyond by going up on the roof to check the vent pipe, and even offered to help me change the furnace filter! I could not have asked for a better experience.
