I am a certified trader, registered representative, registered securities agent... This place has turned from what I used to think was a terrific small-town institution into, well, a wasteland for banking excellence. Its frustrating. Service, attention to detail, all levels of communication from this bank have gone down hill. It used be be a bank you could call for help, now....now, its just a faceless institution of squaller. Years ago, a decade ago it seems, NW bank had a web-based system for viewing banking information. It worked well, it was cutting edge to see pending transactions, I repeat years and years ago. The same system is still in use- or so it looks. The interface is antiquated- and when you call for service for this web-platform nobody has a clue. Client-client payments are an impossibility, up to date reporting is moot, its incredibly difficult to navigate- This all assuming you can login. I am bummed about NW bank. I joined as part of a kids club in the early 90's via my parents and grandparents suggestions. I excitedly opened a CD when I was about 12, thinking it would be my ticket to riches. Now, I wouldn't go in for the free stale popcorn. Only one person I would deal with here. Cody on the investment team.

While on a month long trip this summer, I could not use my card after the first day despite notifying them of my trip before hand. If I wasn't with family, I honestly don't know what I would have done. I never write bad reviews like this, but my experience with this bank has been anything but positive and I'd like to help prevent others from going through what I've gone through if I can. Worst banking experience I've ever had.
