Oh crap. I feel guilty. I've been working so hard on saving money these couple of months and here I…read morego spending like a mad woman for my toddler's birthday party! I've been doing so well, too, like I cut off my threenager 's ballet class cuz she didn't really like it, I just made her do it cuz it was so darn cute. I don't eat out much anymore and I haven't bought any new clothes and shoes since...uhhh last year? (FYI, the ones from Hawaii were gifts.) Plus, I just pluck my own eyebrows but I get lazy nowadays. I don't care if I look like Magnim PI, I'm not paying $40 for wax or threading on my face! We've always had a low key for our daughter 's birthday, but since this is the first year she had actual friends, I thought it would be fun to have a little party to celebrate her birthday. But then I had a horrific picture of 20 toddlers running around at our place for six hours and I panicked! I've never hosted a party like that before. I looked on Yelp and found this company, left a message, and less than 24 hours later, Amanda responded. She sent me a form online and I returned it ASAP to book the date. I didn't even have to pay a deposit! A few days later, Amanda confirmed the date. They're usually busy with events so I had to leave a message each time I called them, but Amanda responded quickly and professionally. Everyone fell in love with Marcus, the balloon guy! Even me!!! He was fun, creative, and very likable. All the kids enjoyed their balloons. Many of our guests took his business card, they thought $125/hour was reasonable. I cringe when I think about how much I spent on that, especially since the kids popped all the balloons. I could've just saved that for her college fund. Next year, though, we're gonna have to stick with cake and ice cream...maybe without the friends. They play at the park everyday anyway. If you're okay with that price and you have that extra money to spend then Marcus is your guy!!!!

She is that good!…read more I hired her for a private party of 60 guests at an Indian restaurant in Berkeley and I booked her for 4 hours for henna tattoo work as well as face painting for the little ones. Robyn is super easy to work with, arrived ahead of time to set up and she was ready to get to work. I was the first in line! Her henna designs and handiwork are phenomenal-- the lines are clean and precise, and she is quick! She has such a sweet personality, super patient that adults and kids gravitate towards her. My guests LOVED her -- I had assumed that only the kids would want to have henna done but after seeing the variety of impressive designs, most of the adults (women as well as the men) wanted to get it done. She was the hit of the party! A week later, my guests are still talking about her tattoos. I wholeheartedly recommend her!

The face painting blew me away and the glitter tattoos were so beautiful, clearly this was henna art and not your typical spray paint tattoo. 15 little girls got extremely spoiled!
