He was referred to me by my divorce attorney, He was…read moresupposed to be her replacement because she had to go on maternity leave. I have evidence and proof he did not do much work at all. He was not even prepared for a passport motion I had in court. He did not email the referee anything before our court day to show proof that the other party in the case was lying. He read the email late to the referee while we were in court and didn't send anything before hand. Also he was on the call 1.5 hours early when our zoom call was at 10:30am he got on the call at 9am and I have proof. He did not even know the time of our zoom motion. Who get on a zoom 1.5 hour early. No one . And he charged me for that time. I felt he did not care about me. He was charging me for things he did not do and I have proof. Bad decision. Big mistake. I did not feel comfortable working with him. When I called his phone went straight to voice mail. He did not make me feel comfortable and safe and when he saw my review he threatened to sue me. Be careful everyone he may do the same with you. He could have called me nicely and talk to me about the review but instead he went straight to suing me for money I have never seen in my entire life. I am an instacart shopper and barely pay my bills and now he is trying to scare me by sending this email to me. This shows you want kind of person he is. Instead of him talking with me he goes straight to suing me for money I don't have any most likely will never have. This email was uncalled for. A simple conversation and Understanding of where I was coming from could have taken the review off yelp but instead I am editing it to be more clear about where I was coming from. I paid hIm $1500 up front that I had to borrow from a friend and family member and I have a balance of $2700 with him. I have proof that some of the itemized billing he charged me for he did not do the work. I am not lying and this is the complete truth and I'm sure he knows this is the truth. Now he is trying to scare me and sue me for $500,000. Seriously he goes this far because of a review no one as even seen yet. Wow hopefully people with see the review I just posted because everything I'm saying is the truth and he knows it's the truth and I have evidence and proof he did not do some of the work he claims he did. I'm not lying.

I paid the amount immediately. The next communication she requested the paperwork to proceed with the complaint, this was on Friday. I dropped off paperwork needed to proceed with my case on the following Monday In her office door drop box. I never got any call, text or email stating she had received it, l then texted her about it and she replied," I will be out of the office until the 20th of January. I paid her in full on the 6th of January. The 20th of January came and went and she never was able to be contacted again by text, phone or email. She ghosted me deliberately. Unfortunately, this was not my first time filing bankruptcy. Compared to my other attorney, this…read morewas a horrible experience. I feel like all they care about is getting paid. They were rude, didn't file my bankruptcy in a timely manner and haven't heard a word from them in the 11 months since I filed (ch. 13). I thoroughly explained my financial situation and instead of trying to help, he made snide remarks without thinking first. No explanation about fee's or recommendations when I expressed my distress at paying $360/mo for 3 years. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!! I am currently looking to remedy this situation so I can fire them before I pay them anymore money.

Even though my bankruptcy is 92% paid and his office was paid in full, it feels like they stopped caring once they got their money. I informed them I lost my job, and he said he wouldn't even notify the court. That's unacceptable. If things fall apart, I'll end up having to refile or rehire someone all over again. The staff--especially Katielyn Garlickis--has been incredibly disrespectful. They don't respond to emails professionally (no greetings or basic courtesy), and I've felt completely dismissed more than once. I honestly don't think this office treats African American clients with the same level of respect or urgency. I asked for an update on my case yesterday--still no response. At this point, I'll be filing a formal complaint. Bankruptcy is already stressful, and this office made it worse, not better. I also have every email which back up my claim. That I had to send to get any information !
